finally finished this after a two year halt in playing. i must say, i see how all the hype was real for this game. to those claiming this doesnt work it indeed does. had a few crashes, but i still obtained it right here. did most of everything you can do in a this game. the only other game i nearly completed was AC brotherhood back on PS3 maybe...
either way, worth the download imo. but, im an open world RPG survival type of guy.
i've downloaded 2 times the file, but "setup" still crash and idk how to fix it and what i have to do; there is something that i have to do after the download?

You need to put the files that are inside update folder in the game folder, Then run the bat file the one that ends with .bat. It will extract the content of patch in the game folder, Then you apply the crack. Don't forget to turn off your antivirus b4 you do so.

Does anybody know if 1.3 fixes the caching bug that keeps certain parts of the map from loading if you play too long? The update only says "stability updates", and that bug was a real problem since it could keep you from finishing the final mission. This is a HUGE bug that NEEDS to be fixed; doesn't matter how rare it is. It's insane that nobody's talking about it.

Unaware but most likely its a virus. Depending on if you have a static or dynamic ip you should be fine to proceed, most ips don't actually contain all that much info.

Got a huge bug with this version (fixed, see EDIT), one that won't let me progress past the finale and need somebody to confirm if they have it. I'm on what's probably the final mission, titled "You can't do this alone" and there's a point where I have to disarm three explosives. Disarming the first two is fine, but the third one I can't get to because there's a blue hell gap between me and the objective. The area just won't load. Tried reloading different saves, tried turning off the game and restarting. Even tried shutting down my PC and restarting that. Loads the same exact bugfucked way, pic related. No idea what's causing it or why it's happening, but it's frustrating as absolute shit as you can imagine. I just wanna beat the game. EDIT: Quitting the mission (pause and select quit mission) and restarting my PC again for good measure fixed it. Turns out it's a caching problem that the PS4 version also had. I played the game too much in one sitting lmao. Aside from that hiccup the game was great. Really underrated and worth playing to the end.
No idea. I beat the game before the 1.02 patch. I hope they did, but it wasn't really in the patch notes. Just stuff about sticky mouse controls, which is hilarious since I can't imagine how awful it would be to play this with anything but a controller. It's one of those games that just aren't designed for KBM.
I mean probably. I wouldn't recommended it, but I haven't tried it myself. You should consider getting a controller down the line since a lot of good console games like this end up on PC. Controllers are also generally better for fighting games, racing games, and platformers. Really anything that isn't an RTS or FPS. No reason not to have one these days.

Yep, good Game. I played about 30-35h. Since recently I've been doing missions for military guys/types. There were 2 or 3 situations, where the game also got stuck (for example NPCs were standing instead of going somewhere), which blocked further storyline. I had to use the previous SAVE or move to a slightly different place.
Yeah, it's mostly weird little bugs like that, which for a 1.0 PC port is great compared to too many other new releases which are practically broken on launch. That bug I mentioned above was the only really fatal one for me though. It was a crazy smooth ride up until then. I really liked the infighting in this game especially, watching wolves hunt down cougars, or zombies take down marauders. It was really cool. A couple of times a horde would even clear out a side mission I was on (one was scripted, the other definitely wasn't) and I'd have to fight or run from the horde instead. Killing hordes in this game, especially on harder difficulties, is so damned satisfying too. It's a real overwhelming rush.
i ran the uninstaller and instead of deleting the game it deleted everything that was on my hard disk, luckily i didn't have much on that drive but still, just a headsup that uninstaller's shady afuck
I notice a lot of uninstallers here will be shady as hell where the rest of a game is fine (usually my virusscan will ping on uninstaller exe's more than anything). There's usually an option not to create an uninstaller, and I always check it. I can just just fix the registry myself if it comes down to it.
If you want to Update the game to 1.01 or 1.02, you have a link to Files in my description. Move the mouse over my Avatar. Just copy them to the main game directory. REMEMBER, make a backup of these files. It works for me, which does not mean that it will be for you.

What happens is the new crack makes a new save folder. Just copy your saves from your old folder and paste them onto the new one. That worked for me. Still, like he said, back up everything. Hover over his avatar and you'll see a URL. Can confirm it updates the game. If you have saved games and they aren't showing up don't worry. Just shut down the game and copy your saves into the new save folder that got made.
why not? the whole point that you could see about the game is that its apocalypse and that you drive bike everywhere, its like trying death stranding and then saying i didnt know there is nothing to be done except to just walk around in this game

Anyone has problem with motorcycle not running and seem like it ran out of gas even though it's not? I've used trainer to get unlimited gas and start game normal without trainer without any solution. I would be stuck on a bike and slowly pushing it, start new game + and it still happened.
Been hearing a lot about crashes. Haven't had one and I know I've logged at least 20 hours. Minimal bugs at worst. I think the worst thing is now Copeland has a hard time rendering fully lately.
yeah, it's been smooth sailing for me, seems very well optimized. it's really pushing my low spec machine too it's max & getting very nice results. 1080p all high settings except shadows are on medium 60fps near locked, although some drops I use VRR display so I don't really notice them unless using framerate monitor. RX580 8 gig ryzen 5 2600 16 gig ram at 3200 all stock.
It's not even just the performance. The way it handles the graphics settings, letting you see everything it does, no need for restarts. Even shows you your GPU percentage and framerate. It's really nice. It's a really damned good port overall. I would never have expected that, especially after Horizon was so rocky when it was ported.

Thermal compound isn't the be all and end all, your cases cooling/air flow is more important. most thermal compound will do the job if applied correctly.
please dont put toothpaste on your GPU, use MX4 its cheap and works great, and youll get quite a bit of uses of a a 9 dollar tube from amazon vs thermal grizzly etc.

just download REVO uninstaller when you wish to remove anything. delete the registry keys, the files, and anything else the uninstaller always leaves behind.

(watch your IOD, VDDG CCD, and VDDP voltages as AUTO runs them WAY TO HIGH...

lol thousands? you really must not play to many other games that are first person, plenty have 130 FOV. if you have the hardware to run the game with 200 res scaler, with 100FOV while maxing out the other settings, and it feels CLOSE to the character while (running) while on a bike or standing still its fine. but once ya start running its different would you not push farther? (my hardware will handle it, thus i prefer more than 100 on (all first person games) especially when for some reason the game chooses to pull/zoom in on the character. you dont agree so why respond, your fine with 100 im not. you live with that decision, ill continue trying to get a workaround going.
