A real Masterpiece in horror game genre wish we had sequel or spiritual successor for it vut without today's horror game market I don't think we are gonna get something decent like this for a while
Great game, really scary. totally worth it, if you want to support the great indie developers that made it then buy it on steam or on console. They're the best and friendliest game developers i've ever seen.
ummm i was able to play it with my 32bit pc, but now about 1 year later i wiped my hard disk and re-instaled windows and i cant anymore because a certain error saying i need my pc to be 64bit
My heart melted after reading their post on imgur.. Most kind hearted developers I've ever seen. Take time to read their story and why they decided to upload their own game for free. Here's their imgur post: http://imgur.com/a/xVhDz
Neither Jotun or Darkwood are 64 bit only. I played Jotun in my Win 32Bit with 3 Gb of RAM without a single problem. And I played Darkwood 2 years ago in the same PC, a few crashes, but I finished it.
Hm... well, I played It 2 years ago. The specs say that they could change over time as the game develops. Maybe that's the case here. Are you sure you have every "pre-game" program installed?
Whoa its only been an hour since it got released on Steam and IGG already uploaded it! Awesome as always guys! Still doing a great job since I found this site on April 17, 2014 with One Finger Death Punch as my first download. By the way, the game had to be delayed by 3 hours so it was released at 11am PDT instead. But anyway, dang. Its taken a long time for this game to get done. I downloaded this way back in Alpha 1.3 on Aug 10, 2014. I know the date because I've kept the RAR file and I just need to look at the "date modified" column to know when I played it. Same thing for when I know what date I found this site. :P Anyway, glad this game wasn't abandoned by the devs like so many other Early Access games on Steam.
Just reading the game descreeeption gives me just that. I can only guess it's even better than Evil resident latest flagship. What the hell, going to try it out. I'm bringing my cooking knife just in case. Nevermind, didn't realize this is an old one. Surprised it didn't update since.
when I try to talk to the three it lags so bad that it takes 20 min to get through dialog, his picture doesn't show up, and when i try to trade it won't let me take or give anything is anyone else having this problem if so how do you fix it please someone help a lot of the things i need they have
ok Whos Bought this and put it on here because i would like to trade some stuff with them to be able to get this from them on Steam Hope u reply who ever u are !!
This game its amazing. The atmosphere its do damn good! Downloaded on Win XP. Running just fine with 3 Gb RAM. Everything maxed out i suppose. Played 2 followed hours, no errors until now.
I downloaded this game (Darkwood) with the unpack and play option...and for some reason it loads fine...sound works fine...even got killed by some red light thing the first night...only problem is that the controls don't work for interacting with anything...like opening doors, baracading windows, Inspecting things, ect. ...and I even tried to customize the controls, and nothing works...how do I get this to work properly for me? ...other than not being able to interact with anything (other than something killing me) ...everything else worked fine..
witch one is the direct link the one i have lags a bit but when I talk to the three npc it lags so bad that his picture doesn't show i cant trade and it takes 20 min to get done talking with him
Yeah, same for me. Other than the interactions though, everything else seems to work just fine. Just need to figure out how to get that working, and the game will be 5/5 for me. It's just figuring that out that sucks :/
totally recommended
popular : 2020

Is there a patch to download somewhere for 1.1?
But don't quote me on that though :\
