Hey, just double clicking setup said it is a virus by MacAfee. Should i proceed or delete the 10GB? This is the 1st time something like this happened to me. I have downloaded over 50 or more games from here
its a false positive, some games trigger detection and some dont depending on the method of crack used but all games on this site are tested and scanned before upload, disable your AV before extracting / installing and it should work fine.
Does anyone have the same problem as me that when i try to jumb between the void portals to reach certain altitude it never reaches the altitude i need ? It never happends pls help there's a fix or something? Its because my game is cracked and not original?

After you install the repack, copy as instructed the content NoDV/SSE -> to your Main Game folder and replace files if asked
Extract the content of your Smart Steam Emu -> to your Main Game folder and replace files if asked
Start the SSELauncher.exe and drag your DarksidersGenesis.exe to your SSELauncher window
Right-Click on the Icon which will appear in the window and press Properties
At your Game Exe: patch select your ...\ProjectMayhem\Binaries\Win64\DarksidersGenesis-Win64-Shipping.exe
At Game App Id: type 710920 Click SAVE and your are DONE! If you want to configurate your Name/Avatar you can go to File->Settings and do so. Always launch the game from SSELauncher.exe! Thank me later! :)

They did the same with the Tomb Raider games, making it a isometric twin-stick shooter game with puzzles. It was called Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and received adequate fanfare, just like this one. THEN it became a shit game when people realized, "Wait a second..., this isn't Tomb Raider. This is just a mobile game ported to other systems. What a wasted opportunity." Remember what they did with Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime? These games are shit and waste so much development resources, which could be spent on making a proper game in the franchise, instead of this shit.
I get a bit with you venting your frustration on the past titles that didn't go the way you wanted. So you are saying that history has a way of repeating itself with certain IPs that branched off the original titles (thanks to the developers). It doesn't mean Temple of Osiris is an absolute waste of creative collaboration. Since some people loved playing Tomb Raider themed games with a multiplayer focus. It may have been a departure from the solo action adventure game we have played in the past. Though Osiris has it's strengths for it's cooperative gameplay. Then later on we got a proper reboot of Tomb Raider followed up by Rise, then Shadow of. This was progress from the past entrees. Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is in my blindspot, as opposed to the Ghostbusters remastered(PS4, Switch etc.). That one was worth playing even though it's originally a PS3, 360 and PC port from back then. Should you play this Darksiders prequel game from start to finish with a friend. Then land on a verdict as to whether this is shit or not, it's entirely up to you. Or just don't play it at all, and chuck rocks from the sidelines and wish the developers straight to hell.
Temple of Osiris was a great game and likely didn't even take time or resources from other projects. This game is the same way. In fact, it is way better than Darksiders 3, which was crap. Besides the perspective change, this is more similar to Darksiders 1 and 2 than 3 was. EDIT: This is mostly meant for the OP.

A little tip for using the synergie-skills(later buyable),to use it they say hold short the "a" Button(controller),but it is hold short LB+"a"-Button.Damn it took me awhile to figure that out,I hope this matters.
I have never played any Darksiders games. Is this one like an ARPG? I see everybody on Steam saying that it's not like Diablo at all, and that there's no gear? So, it's just an action-shooter game? No inventory and stats?🤔
It's the original game with an isometric (top down) view instead of 3rd person perspective. Probably the easiest way they found of rehashing their old games without being accused of rehashing their old games. I'm not complaining though. I quite like the change and am a fan of each game in the franchise doing at least something that differentiates it from the others on a nearly fundamental level.
The first and second Darksiders (I haven't played 3 yet) are very reminiscent to games like Legend of Zelda, Prince of Persia Sands of Time, and even God of War. Thematically it shares the same type of story material of the Diablo games. Hell with Apocalypse undergoes the world you play in. Demon's and Angels go about Earth and the realms that intertwine the existence of humankind. Mechanically the game is less like the Diablo series and more like the aforementioned PoP, LoZ, GoW games. Melee combat is the primary focus as hack and slash goes hand in hand, also secondary weapons are guns/explosive projectiles. Plenty of puzzle platforming, wall running, grappling on ledges/surfaces, the works. Hope this helps.
there are RPG elements, like (kinda) skill tree, which you progress by sloting mobs stones. There are skills and different combat puwerups like strifes different amunition types. No there is no gear, but there are stats, which you on one hand upgrade with stones (like previous darksiders for life and rage) and on the other hand with that mentioned skill tree(also life and rage, but attack aswell). There is also vulgrim who sells you more powerups and stone fragments for souls. You can repeat missions to get more souls and more mobs stones to increase stats. Combat feels like darksiders 1 and kinda has the same features, like finish moves.

Depends. It's very different from previous games but chances are that if you enjoy games like Diablo or Sacred or even Baldur's Gate, you'l like this one too

I haven't played it myself yet but i've seen plenty of videos. It's top down perspective and while it doesn't have like armor and weapon loot and a deep equipment system, the base gameplay is very much like Diablo 3
Not as far as i've seen. It's a top down perspective game like Diablo or Nuclear Throne though with plenty of action. It also has some RPG elements with leveling up and gaining special abilities via enemy cores. But i have yet to actually play the game, i've only seen some videos
this game is Darksiders in its core, not Diablo or whatever. Combat feels like darksiders, there are platforming elements. War and Strife are just so well made, feels epic.
And i never said it WAS Diablo, i said it both looks and plays like it, mostly due to the top down perspective. Platforming elements? There are BARELY any in the game, and i mean BARELY

I'm with you on that one. I've only beaten the first two as War and then Death. A bit hesitant on continuing with the 3rd one, but I'll give it a go in part of my backlog .
