It's basically Sudden Strike, but with unit persistence and a strategic map. That means units are part of larger armies that you move around the map doing generic and story missions, they level up, spend fuel ammo and parts, and conquer resources for you. It's an OK game, if you particularly like the old Sudden Strike games, and enjoy having that extra strategic layer. But every unit is now sort of precious, so you are incentivized to save scum alot, and mostly invest in Heavy Tanks and Artillery beacause you get infantry for free every mission. If you're a fan of the old Sudden Strike games, definitely worth a look, otherwise, the ancient UI will probably be too much of a hassle, and without save scumming, the game is incredibly frustrating.
And where to get it ?
