This works fine for me! And I use GNU/Linux, so you guys especially shouldn't be having problems.

same problem here... then cracked with new one from copyworld... same... then gave exe administrative privileges... same again... xp compatibility mode and nothing changed... surfed the web and lot of people with the same problem... so no more solutions for me.
