It seems the issue we're experiencing might be specific to the GOG version of the game. I haven't come across any mentions of this problem in the Steam discussions.
Only that, if you don't like weeb stuff, many games and whole genres (RPGs) are anime or at least anime-trope-inspired, or have unnecessary romance, or are degenerate/overly indulgent in some way.
Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, you're probably right.
In general I am not into that culture, so it's likely that I'll "critique" other games the same way. But I might have been a bit harsh on Crush Crush, to be honest. I was probably grumpy that day.
Not sure how I feel about Craft Craft, however. Looks like it's made for the ladies.
No, I think you're right on Crush Crush, I actually played it a while back and it wasn't even good for what it is when you're expecting it. Far too predatory of monetization, far too grindy for far too little reward. You could do better even within the genre(s) it encompasses.
I think Craft Craft seems fine, but it is a niche for sure. Relaxing no-pressure games that are good to play between more demanding games like shooters and whatnot, if you have the patience for them.
Crush Crush looks like a degenerate dating game for weebs.
