Man, that "rare shop" thingy is basically a scam. But a SP is good. p/s: There is no level in this game. Brute forcing through the boss is hard, it's better to pick a lock then hack the boss. Man there's like 5 crucial choices in the game. It hurts to do good deeds. (can't say much, spoilers) Tips: B4 the final assault, you'll be given the best armor in the game. Stock up on arms and ammo.
