Hey thanks for the tip but I used the torrent version when that didn't work. I ended up getting the one that has the Challenge dlc, - Children of Morta Shrine of Challenge-PLAZA - you might wanna check it out. # Take it easy :-)
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\http://GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\49845465038978536\Storage\Shared\Files is the save file location btw, usually mentioned in the comments, but not this time so I went digging. Wish each game had a mention of where it saved files but that's not the world we live in, lol
i have problems with the RAR, when i want to extract him dont work and say ''the archive have a uknown format or is damaged'' and i try with MegaUP, Google drive, http://Mega.nz and link uploaded, help please
Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.
This is the quality comment i came here for. My rig can handle 99% of the games released on IGG, but everyones comments always make it feel like the game might not run.
First greedfall now this.. I can't get these steam cracks to work with my controller. Using xb360 controller and it works fine with all my steam games and emulators.
Downloaded the newer version you just updated 1.0.6 and still having problems with the game locking up. It happens with the main character on the 3rd stage of the first gate when you are about to open to door to fight the golem. I tried taking it out of fullscreen and running it on 640x480 before opening the boss door, and it worked. But now when I try to use the newer character (fire child) this same lock up happens on the first stage of the first gate. Even when I put the game in windowed and 64-x480. So I tried another character, the boy with the daggers, and ran into the same issue like the first time. Is there any other workaround for this or solution to these freezes? It makes it impossible to progress with any of them.
Downloaded version 1.0.7 earlier to try and see if the bug is fixed, and it's not. Still run into the issue in fullscreen. Tried to take it out of fullscreen and put it to 640x480 and got through the first 3 stages with main character. But again, when playing with Fire child, game freezes at door to first boss. Even tried game in save slot 1, 3 and 5 and doesn't seem to make a difference. Wish someone had a solution to this problem.
I have the same problem follow my advice it may work for u: 1)-go find the file steam_emu in your games files 2)-Normally you have to see "### Set Steam connection to offline mode" and "Offline=1" 3)-change it and see if it work (u may need the administrator right to make change in the file) 4)- enjoy your game
Anyone having issues with things not saving. I ran all the way up to the golem fight in the first area, came back and I had to start the game over from scratch.
Haven't had any saving issues, but you should know that the game doesn't save while you're still inside the dungeon, only when you get back to the house.
It's good... Sort of buggy in some places (enemies spawning/dying in obstacles, slimes working really weirdly with Mark's dash-attacks) and certain things in need of clarifying (namely permanent upgrades to your 'primary attack damage' giving you something like +2 more damage per upgrade, but each character has a different attack scaling of sort, meaning that this value might actually be lower or higher than it says for most characters, same thing with hp upgrades), but other than that it's a rather fun experience overall. ...But it's short. I finished the game in those 2-or-so days and that was about it. I can just go back in the dungeons as I wish, but there isn't really much to do anymore, there is no new "endless"-type of game mode or anything like that and the skill trees of the characters are also just the right length to reach the very top sometime around defeating the last boss (which honestly seemed easier than the second-to-last boss, and that was kind of disappointing, considering the scale of importance this battle was supposed to have in the story), which most likely means that there just isn't really anything more to character progression as after that as well. Considering the size of the skill tree, it's also weird to me that there was supposed to be (didn't bother with it at all, so I'm not sure lol) a way to reset your skill points - it seemed to me like there was barely any choice to make there, other than maybe upgrading some skills to a higher lvl (max only 3 lvls per skill, which I also think kind of sucks) sooner than other skills. So yeah as I've said the game is overall pretty good, so I'll just list my grievances with it:
game was good but short, they should add something to do after beating it, probably some further progression together with endlessly increasing in difficulty dungeons,
Joey didn't feel fun to play to me at all, Lucy's Cyclone is useless and so is Kevin's Shadow Cloak + right click,
the 'Rages' were disappointing for how long you need to grind to activate them (either increase their power even more or lower their power and lower the time you need to fight to activate them),
the ending and a certain death (together with the nonsensical lead-up to that death) were honestly disappointing and rather anti-climactic, and that's coming from somebody who barely ever cares about the story in most games,
the '3 buttons' event room is just dumb - "here you go, your event room that normally would've given you something nice or some gold at least can now actively 2 out of 3 times be a detriment instead if you aren't lucky enough - enjoy!",
the passive Divine Items were mostly uninspired (so much that even the more common Charms were more interesting and innovative): "You poison enemies", "You burn enemies", "Stat up in 5 different flavors", "You get one of 3 familiars, only 1 of which is actually kind of useful"
the active Divine Items were mostly both boring and almost useless in comparison with some others, it also feels like there are too many of them in comparison with passives - sometimes I was hoping to finally get some good upgrade just to get the 4th in a row useless active while I already have 2 on me (while on the topic, there should be a button to switch the position of the actives, I hate switching one of my actives just to find another one now being assigned to a different binding than it was before with no way of changing it without straight-up going to the Options screen just for that...),
THE COMPANY LOGOS AT THE START OF THE GAME ARE TOO DAMN LOUD FOR NO REASON, lowered my volume by 40% once and still felt like it was way too loud then,
I still haven't found the last damn 'rock' for Uncle Ben's machine-something and it makes me really mad after I tried like 4+ additional runs after the very end and didn't find it in any of the dungeons... TL;DR: The game is enjoyable, but for a rouge-lite, it has a really short completion time, after which there isn't really anything more to do. The rest of my "review" up there are just my relatively minor complaints about many different aspects of the game and it's probably going to tell anything at all almost only to the people who already have played the game and then they're going to read it and be like "I know, right?!". At least I hope so.
Then this one is lacking in its replayability aspect after you "beat it". It tried to fuse a rouge-lite with a story-based game and focused on the "story" part too much, leaving out the inherent replayability value of the other genre in the dirt after you complete the main quest and pretty much all the side-quests and all that. When you lvl-up and upgrade stuff enough, pretty much every run becomes so trivially easy that you don't even care which items or rooms you'll find - they all barely make a difference in your runs at that point. All the runs start almost only differing in the few layout differences of the rooms, pretty much zero actual fun is left for you to experience since you've already "checked off" all the other "fun rooms" and they won't appear again.
Everything is tested and scanned before being uploaded, this website is virus free. If you get a trojan, it's false positive, like explained http://igg-games.com/virus-trojan.html.
you'll need to temporarily suspend antivirus to install. setup.exe got quarantined for me, so i had to extract it again. but no ill effects detected on enabling protection after installation.

Is it just me or does the installer not install the crack. The game game opens up the game's page on Steam when loading the main menu. This means its not cracked and is still protected.
i saw this further down in comments here. wasn't a prob for me, but i changed the install directory. you can manually copy the folder from the .iso to your installed folder though.
try starting game with administrator rights, save on fifth save slot and you have to kill the first boss spider in order for game to start the saving.after that it works fine. at least thats what i did and game is ok.But if you dont kill the boss probably nothing else will work cause i had the same problem too.after that it saves automatically whenever you are in base and get in and out of various upgrades cabinets. game works dont worry.just try to win the first map and afterwards all good :)
can i ask you to delete the game . ??? the developer team are small and they put a lot of effort to develop this game . so please ask your members to buy this game and support them .
Well this is definitely a good game! Its worth buying just to support the developers. I always try my game first through piracy if the game suck and there is a lot of bugs i delete it immediately. If the game worth while i buy it the first game that i bought was starcraft (199X) and also bought starcraft II wings of liberty (20XX?) but the next series are not worth it specially when it become a JAPANESE-anime like story LOL!
Pirating does not negatively impact sales. If anything, the pirating community has contributed in that it gives exposure to good games worth purchasing. For example, I use it as a means to try a game before I pay for it to see if it is a project worth spending money on. A lot of others use it the same way. I also use it to play games I want to enjoy, but have boycotted the purchasing of for personal or ethical reasons. EDIT: This game is actually a good example, because I have since bought it on Steam after playing the version uploaded on Steam.
A quick glance at your comment history shows that you've been a naughty pirate yourself pal, so the thought of you telling anyone to buy games is ludicrous.
They can't do that just because the Dev Team is small, otherwise 99% of "indy" games wouldn't be cracked If this game is good and the devs are trust worthy, it will meet success and people will buy it, it has been proven many time by the past, see this as free advertisement, not as enemy. Pirate scene more than often remember to go buy the game if we like it, they're not against paying games, they are just for freedom to choose.
yeah what Liberi said...!!! Most(some) of us are here to test try the games , if it grabs me, sure I'll buy if not just skip it. So please don't judge us and say on a pirate site to delete it.
It does not have random loot. Watch SplatterCatGaming's videos. It's a Rogue-Like Diablo style game, meaning it focuses on adventure and storyline, with RPG mechanics. Instead of picking up loot, you use the currency you pick up in game to upgrade yourself. From damage, to crit chance, to defense. Even movement speed is an upgrade. I know of 3 of the characters: John, the father, is your warrior. Sword and Shield build, has an AoE skill to deal with crowds. Can block attacks with his shield, and you can even get a Thorns upgrade for it to kill enemies as they attack you. Linda, the eldest daughter, is your archer. Bow in hand, she's more agile than her father, and has explosive arrows. and the youngest son, who's name is escaping my mind, looks like a Rogue type character. Agile, with 2 daggers. I don't know much more about the game, as I don't have a PC that can run it (I think. gonna try to run it on my Toshiba....), and all this information is from SplatterCat's videos.
Anyone here also having the problem that after booting up (after the logos) the games starts to flickering ? But only in the Main Menu. If i somehow manage to start the game it works perfect. But it seems that my TV is loosing the Connection to the PC when im in the main menu of this game... only closing the game helps. Had this issue with an other game. But only with these 2 games. Anyone knows how to solve this ? already startet as admin...
try switching to windowed mode (alt-enter) this is only a workaround if it clears up but then you'll know it's the video mode - which can mean looking at your system specs
I can't get a controller to work either. The guy just spams attacks and I can't seem to fix it! Edit: Apparently the dev team are working on controller support still. Gonna hold off buying the game until I can use a controller I think.
Who are you quoting, "kid"? What are you some 12year old CoD player? Get a job like the rest of us instead of being a whiny little unemployed manchild trying to act tough on the internet and crying because everyone else is in the current century. Ask your parents to help you. Any budget PC can handle a low graphics game like this. The fuck is "gamers for life"... lmao.
"Gamers for life" has nothing to do with ever evolving technology. If you don't keep up with the times, you get left behind, that's just life. Eventually your new pc will become an obsolete pc.
They could've said it nicer but they aren't wrong...Direct x11 is about to be left in the dust by Direct x12, so playing with Direct x10 and hoping new games work is a recipe for disappointment.
I had the same issue. I had to run it as administrator and I selected the second save slot. Kind of fishy tbh that a game requires you to run as admin...
Good game. Is like Rogue Legacy with permanent upgrades helping you get deeper into a procedurally generated dungeon. They take some pointers from Bastion with the deep and wise Narrator dictating the story and couple it with stellar pixelart. Controls are responsive and there seems to be enough in the way of progression to keep me hooked. Guess I know what I'll be doing for the next couple of days.
Looks like chalks or something.
is the save file location btw, usually mentioned in the comments, but not this time so I went digging. Wish each game had a mention of where it saved files but that's not the world we live in, lol

?
1)-go find the file steam_emu in your games files
2)-Normally you have to see "### Set Steam connection to offline mode" and "Offline=1"
3)-change it and see if it work (u may need the administrator right to make change in the file)
4)- enjoy your game
if you played diablo 2 its almost similar to it
block from outbound connectoins before you open after installing
anyone with same problem?
Edit: Problem returned
Edit²: Always play it as administer
