Thought I solved it, but turns out I was wrong. Here's the necessary screenshots again: When I press "RUN" in the setup.exe window after the installation completes, I saw this window, which lead me to conclude I solved it. However, clicking start lead to a missing file dubbed steam_emu.ini, which is actually in the necessary folder (shouldn't have thrown the error of a missing file). Even though it was there and shouldn't be "missing" I hadn't copy/pasted and overwrote from PLAZA yet. I overwrote files with those from PLAZA, and attempted to start from boot.bat. Starting from boot.bat leads to a "File not found" error, which really pisses me off because the only thing boot.bat does is start launcher.exe with the EN (english) language, and it is clearly in. the. same. folder as boot.bat. Like the super-post, the download came with two archived files, part1 and part 2 which were ~5.5 and ~3.3 gb each, but both contained an .iso file with the exact same size (8.86 gb), which makes it seem like I didn't need to deal with the parts individually. TBH I have no clue what the hell I'm doing wrong and would love for any and all assistance with this.
I wasn't able to... However I do know a fail-safe solution... Use BootCamp to assign a Windows 10 partition on your hard-drive and purchase a windows 10 key. That way you'll be able to have both Mac OS and Windows on your Macbook and run pretty much all programs.
So, if I understand it right, according to previous comments: -- this is the Steam version, from 190122. Official TL. -- the other one available, from last June, is the Japanese version patched with v1.0 of the CoZ patch. (I assume v1.1 can be applied onto it too?) My question is this: how big is the difference b/w the official and fan translations and is one recommended over the other? Also, going by Cryptical's comment from 2 months ago, there are bugs in the Steam version which are supposedly not present (fixed, I guess?) in the v1.0/1.1 CoZ patched Japanese version (but those patches cannot be used with the Steam version). It this confirmed? (as in the Steam version being buggy -also, what bugs?-, and the CoZ patch being not applicable) Or just speculation? I would really appreciate some answers, because right now these things are kind of vague for me, and would like to give this one a shot knowing I'm playing the best version available. Thx. :)
----- EDIT: okay, after some digging around I sorta got the main gist of what's what. CoZ v1.1 (by now v1.11 actually being the latest) was created for the Steam release, offering the very same (and then some very few more, minor) fixes that CoZ v1.0 did for the Japanese version from 2016. Just google "committee of zero" and you can see what needed fixing. Those bugs/tardy porting/etc. problems made it to the Steam release as well. (LAZY much? lol) Also, as Cryptical mentioned, indeed, the v1.11 CoZ patch (or the v1.0, for that matter) won't work with the pirated Steam version (this CODEX/PLAZA one), sadly, right now. It installs, but won't change anything. So if anyone finds a way or workaround to make the CoZ patch work with this; please share your wisdom, oh great one! :)
Go to your mounted virtual drive you installed the game from, go to PLAZA folder there, copy the contents into your game folder, replace everything, then run boot.bat.
For anyone who is confused with multiple release of this VN on this site: This one is a Steam release with official English subtitles. The CoZ patch v1.1 won't work with pirated copy. So, you'll end up with bugs and minor issues. The older one from June 3, 2018, is a fully Japanese PC release. The CoZ patch v1.0 takes English translation from PS release and make it fully English and fixes bugs. So for pirated copy, the older one is better, while for legit copy, this Steam release is better. Unless someone makes CoZ patch works with this crack, I would recommend you to download the older version.
anyone gotten delusions to work on this version? they just auto skip for me into the "neither" choice, it's weird. can't pick anything. i don't have skip or auto mode on obviously.
No. Apparently, CoZ patch v1.1 won't works with this crack so I would recommend to get the older, June 3, 2018 non-steam release on this site with CoZ v1.0. Though it will lacks some fixes from 1.1.

im kinda starting to hate anime a bit not because of the usual "anime is a sin lol" but because they always end up butchering the stories for flashier and longer scenes or they end up making whole new plots or endings like wtf i spent my whole youth with that shitty fake ending they gave to full metal alchemist
This happen when i'm starting the game

Do i have to finish C:H first before this??
