These are the same games i played years ago! I have all of them in a few rar files. Why capcom why? I guess they have no new ideas for video games anymore! Just riding old accomplishments right into the ground! Squeeze every last cent out of all the old games! Some of my friends used to have the actual games with the cabinets and all in their basements! I liked 1943, time pilot, there was one game i still dont know the name of it you had a plane that went thru time 1st you fought english then the germans, then i think it was the japanese then the americans, it was like time pilot but it used a 1943 play format you started at bottom middle of screen and you had to get thru wave after wave. I remember shooting at an english balloon airship trying to hit it's engines on the left and right side of it. I think it was a japanese game. God i wish i knew the name of it. The only video game i ever was able to complete after a few hours. After the last wave it would tell you that you won! It was only in arcade cabinet games ive NEVER seen it remade ever! It would be a great game
The main thing that would sell this for me is if they used the actual arcade cabinets. I like the cabinet gimmick, but not when they're generic like this. Old school cabinet designs are fantastic.
Dunno why anyone is shocked by how underwhelming this installment is. This is Capcom! They're the one who sold you the DLC characters that were already in the CD, kept the "real ending" of Asura's Wrath hostage behind a paywall, and added ads in Street Fighter V. For you, it's all absurd that a well-known and beloved company is screwing over their fans. But for Capcom, it was Tuesday.
Another collection of capcom games? I've lost count of how many times capcom has released collections since the time of Ps1 and Saturn: Street Fighter Collection 1 and 2 (ps1 and Satuno), Capcom Generations 1 to 5 (ps1, saturn), Mega Man X collection (ps2) , Capcom Classics Collection 1 and 2 (ps2), Capcom Arcade Cabinet, Capcom Digital Collection, Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.
i don't know if it's better than MAME, probably not, but you can try RetroArch - it doesn't always worked for me, but it was years back when i bothered with emulating, maybe it got patched. it however looked like something made in this milenium
I'm pretty sure that RetroArch uses MAME as one of it's cores. I think it's also uses FinalBurn Alpha as another core. So honestly using MAME solo or as a Retroatch core is pretty much the same thing at the moment
DO NOT use RetroArch, it's a pile of crap plugin based system that poorly merge dozens of emulators, and its performance is far worse than the emulators themselves. RetroArch is not an emulator, don't waste your time with it. Use MAME instead.
Personally, I think that Retroarch has the worst UI ever created in history of emulators, but I don't have performance problems. I play lots of Megadrive games, and for some reason, even Kega Fusion eventually started having sync problem (with Windows 10. Never had a problem with Windows 7.) With Retroarch, I don't have any problems like that. I would have never believed it 5 years ago, but Retroarch has become my to-go solution for the Megadrive. That says a lot about how terrible Megadrive emulation is, even in 2021... Most emulators are abandoned and outdated. On the other hand, I do agree that individual emulators are always the best, and Retroarch is just painful to use. I would never use Retroarch for Snes games, for example. Snes9x, Bsnes or Ares are infinitely better and also have access to shaders, so there's literally no point in using Retroarch. And I also agree that if we're talking arcade, Mame is the best, period. And even if Retroarch does use Mame cores, it's still a pain in the ass to use, so what's the point...
Except you're wrong. RetroArch manages all it's cores expertly and only a few of the cores have less performance than the stand alone emulators(Those being PSP, PS2 and Gamecube last time I checked). The vast majority of it's cores have the same and in some cases BETTER performance than the solo emulators. Don't be spreading missinformation
There isn't. MAME is still THE best arcade emulator. t's the only emulator that emulates the vast majority of Williams/Midway games (Smash TV, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat) It's the best Neo Geo emulator It's the best Capcom CPS1, CPS2, and CPS3 emulator It's basically the only platform that emulates Atari games from the early 90s Any games made through 1999 will only run perfectly on MAME. the only two that come close are Mednafen and FBA and yet MAME is still superior to them in many aspects
i dont even bother to download capcom classic roms, you can play all of them online unless you have an extremely very old toaster then yes go for mame or winkawaks who is even less demanding than mame
Again, did you miss it when I pointed out that MAME is the single best emulator for Capcom CPS1, CPS2, and CPS3? Sure other emulators runs the games but MAME is still the best for it
you didnt get it do ya? what i mean is for most capcom classic gaming in this collection you can play them online your browser is literally an emulator for this
Nope, according to Steam 2 GB VRAM are sufficient (which is still absurd). But this is just the free package and only contains 1943 and no other game, so you need to buy the additional Stadium Packs. The game catalog have been published several times, my oldest versions are 2 collections for the Original Xbox. And of course, there is always MAME.
Old school cabinet designs are fantastic.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
EMULATORSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ARE FREEEEEEEEEEE
CAPCOM IS JUST TRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !
they are free everywhere, you could even play online all of them
This is Capcom!

i mean capcom really expect people will buy each game separately?
WHY PAYING IF THERE ARE SO MANY EMULATORS ?!?!?!?!??!??
MY gooooooooooooooooooooooshHHHHHHHHHHHHH
