Majority of these games started development around the same time, your statement is flawed. Go elsewhere if you want to complain about similarities that each individual game has in a genre.
Tested for about 2 hours. I like the idea to build on water a city but there're some basic stuff the devs missed. First when you want to scavenge a big spot of a resource, you NEED to put your building over it. Yes, you read me well, if you scavenger hut is at the north east of your city you will need to rotate so you scavenger building would access the resource! Nope they don't have boats, yes even if a part of your town is on the spot/resource it won't work.... I know that some RTS games require you to build on the ressource except here we're in the middle of ocean so you've to move your base almost avery 2-3 mins (yes, they scavenge pretty fast) . Second thing that made me restart twice the game is around 30+ mins of gameplay, Pirates will attack you. Yeah in the middle of ocean of junk, they have GPS but not you.... I know that pirates exist but man not just after 30 mins, that's harsh, I am barely surving to find fish lol. I would understand if I am near some kind of coast or if I did some trades, but nope and worse of all. It's not only one ship of pirate which contains an average of 10 killers but 3 BOATS which attacked me! It's like the game telling to focus first on military and screw finding ressources to survive, lol
It's okay, don't worry, I like to comment here because there isn't some hive mind who will hate me so I can comment freely unlike on some forums or social media.
lol definitely not pointless, lots of people(including me, almost every day) write their impressions in the comments on IGG's website, and it's always appreciated. Comments on IGG are one of the first things I read before downloading a game.
Don't worry, not writing for the dev, just take it like a random tweet of someone speaking her mind in a neutral place without having to worry to raise my anti flame shield, lol
There was an instance where a dev of a game came to igg to talk about how its cool about people pirating the game but just hope that it would leave a good impression for the piraters to help out and buy the game if they enjoyed it.
There should be a different term for games like this that is different from Early Access because I feel like the people making these kinds of games are still attending programming classes and game design school. It's like they are saying : "Please pay us so we can continue learning how to make games. " I'd be mad, but education is expensive so I understand that they have to hustle.
heh that would be a nice joke you know, more like "hey we want easy money instead of looking a job like any normal person" take a example of that dumb kid cooking lessons who actually its a shitty stream
Can someone post the last update please ?
