Very frustrating and unrewarding experience.

Your character is famished all the time. Your going to be scarfing down roasted corn after roasted corn, and don't get too excited when you get your first NPC farmer. He often leaves over half his tiny sum of plots unplanted or unwatered so corn from him will not be coming in at a consistent pace. The farming loop is very unrewarding. Your going to be eating any profit you could make from farming or spending all your time monotonously farming a massive number of plots.

Prepare to spend hours upon hours simply collecting resources for even the most basic thing. Want to build a house? You'll need multiple boards for each wall and each board requires wood and each tree drops 2 wood, and your pathetic stone axe is going to break after too few trees for too little wood. Want a better axe? Good luck. All progression is locked behind doing quests for NPC's or upgrading your village (which will require doing quests to unlock certain things), and who knows which NPC quest will lead to what new technology or upgrade.

You unlock an architect early on that can build blueprints for you, but only if the things he needs is in the warehouse. And by that I mean the exact things. He will not build the needed things out of materials, he wont convert wood into floors for example, or boards into walls. If the blueprint requires a bed you need to have a bed in the warehouse and doors and tables and so on. I mean, if I have to craft all these things myself how much time and effort am I saving by having someone else put it all where it goes? I would have much rather gotten someone that can gather some fucking wood for me.

So aside from progression and the gameplay loop. Music is fine, I turn game music off eventually in everything anyway so I don't really care. Sound though, is annoying. The sound of hitting things, of characters talking, it's all very high pitched and uncomfortable. Going to the market is awful when 2 or 3 NPC's start talking and their high pitched beeps or boops or whatever start running over each other.

Inventory space is extremely limited. I mean, I know that's kind of a staple of these games when you start out but EVERYTHING has rarity ratings and those all stack in their own space. So you might have a stack 20 regular wood, 2 bronze wood, and a silver wood all taking up their own space in your inventory. This starts to become a real problem very quickly requiring either many many trips back to the warehouse or to start trashing higher rarity objects.

Building things feels prohibitive. You get the 'recipe' for beds early and free, but they require iron and that requires a quest chain. To be fair, it's not too hard to mine iron but that iron requires coal to smelt and coal requires LOTS of wood so you'll find yourself going back to chopping trees and making axes. How much wood? It's TEN WOOD for a single coal! Once you have the wood for the coal you'll be waiting for a long time for coal to craft, I mean a REALLY long time for a single piece of coal. Handcrafted things are bafflingly unable to be crafted at a work bench. There are a lot of things you can only craft at an anvil which seem very out of place.

There is a cool system where you can find monster hearts or whatever, hatch them, and have them accompany you. They do a bit of fighting when the game bothers to remember that they can move and attack. I think they get better over time, but I rarely saw them actually do anything, even in combat. They too are famished and will require a lot of feed which very quickly gets out of hand. They like to hang out in door ways to make it difficult for you to move in and out of buildings.

NPC's can push you around, often pushing you out of conversations you may be having with other NPC's. NPC's will also for some reason not stop moving when you talk to them, often breaking the conversation because they move too far away. I mean, really? The developers didn't catch this and prevent them or you from moving during conversation? You might have to talk to people multiple times to turn in quests, get new ones, progress something, good luck with the chicken farmer.

So much of the stuff that makes this game unpleasant probably eases up later on. I expect there are NPC's that can help to automate things and gather materials and all of that, but the process of getting there is so frustrating and mind numbing. And if my first farmer is any indication of how bad they are going to be at their jobs... Well, there are better ways to spend my time.

Soooo, someone here said that the dev didn't actually fix anything or update anything and just jump and pur the ver onto 1.0. And.... apparently they were right.

WARNING: DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNNECESSARY, SUCH AS DOING SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR OWN INITIATIVE, WHEN THE QUEST HAVEN'T EVEN TOLD YOU TO DO ANYTHING YET.

Cause you'll get stuck. Like, seriously, the game is not ver 1.0 yet, the damn game doesn't even have something so advanced like knowing ahead what you already did and confirm it.

Where did I get stuck specifically? It's the part where I have to build the new village goddess statue. So, the quest haven't even told me to destroy the broken statue, yet I already went ahead did it. When I came back to try to place the new statue, it just stuck. It won't let me. AND SPEAKING TO THE OLD MAN JUST GIVE THE DAMN TEXT OF DESTROYING THE STATUE. And nothing else. There's no load point in the menu, so I can only assume I have to start from the beginning.

Already uninstalled the game, cause I'm afraid I'll be dealing with that kind of thing a lot in this game.

Myeah , apparently game is an unfinished slop, no update for month and went to 1.0 without bug correction or any major update
Looks like an abandonned project that dev put into 1.0 to not think about it anymore...
Sad it looked cool on paper.

I hate it when people have a cool idea(not saying this is one) and then ruin the game because of their shitty personality/ies and personal beliefs. But hey, ITS MINE I CAN DO WHAT I WANT!HURRRR DUURRRRR!!!!
