Oops...wrong link Yea, for this one I used the link that creeper posted and replaced the file that was in d:\games\Bloody.Rally.Show\Bloody Rally Show_Data\Plugins with the one that's in the .rar I downloaded Then I made sure the main executable (Bloody Rally Show.exe) was blocked in my firewall and I ran it in Administrator (Just to be sure) Everything works great. I also would like to say thanks to Spajus for being so cool and taking the time to come on here and clear a few things up. I buy a lot of games after piracy and I'm a big advocate for it so it's nice to see developers embracing that thought process. Especially since someone called me a filthy rat just a couple days ago because I told them I pirated games and didn't see anything wrong with it. And I used the same logic that more players will be exposed and eventually buy it than if it hadn't been pirated. Cheers!!!
Respect+ @disqus_dQDJZQcHoe:disqus i tested your game for a few hours and i like it but i will stop playing wirh your work and wish you good luck in your future development P.S i also see you are a jojo fan, some avatars looks like characters from jojo 👌
The website definitely felt a little sketch to me (because aren't the steam dlls specific to each game?), but I can confirm that this does in fact solve the problem and there's nothing shady going on behind the scenes. Thanks :)
Someone needs to come out with a CaRPG like ChoroQ again. That was such an excellent concept and then they never made any more of them. Somebody needs to just "rip that off".
Boy, I just googled that game. I'm pretty sure I played at least one of those series when I was a kid. Loved it then because of the cute cars and RPG-ish elements.
For anyone looking, deleting the SteamEmu folder and letting it be recreated when started seems to fix the issue for me at least. And to the dev, I plan on buying it soon-ish just for that sweet, sweet workshop, just am broke right now. But thanks for being awesome and simply rolling with the punches instead of punishing everyone including legitimate users through intrusive DRM :) EDIT: Ok, turns out there is no fixing the issue, but I do know what's causing it (or at least one thing that causes it for me): mouse input. You can play with a controller just fine (usually, sometimes it still just dies), but the moment you touch the mouse, CRASH. Guess we just have to wait on a fixed "crack" (which supposedly isn't even needed).
Hey, developer of the game here. I'm absolutely cool with pirates, but I made the game DRM free and it runs perfectly well without steam, so not sure what did crackers do when they were "cracking" it, but it broke the game :)
Just want you to know that, as with any games I really enjoy and want to support the devs, I just went and bought the game full price on Steam. Don't worry about it being posted here, I can tell you from experience that its only going to open the game up to more potential buyers that may of not even found the game in the first place. Super fun game BTW!
Thank you! I'm not worried about piracy at all, I find it to be healthy for game promotion, and I did test the game to ensure it works without Steam. I was unable to afford games when I was young and broke, so I know how it feels when you can't play what you want. Enjoy the game everyone, just try to find a clean copy that doesn't have crack in it, or at least block the game in your firewall so those trojans cannot use your computer. Stay safe, and enjoy the game! :)
