Bought this game to support the developers, absolutely adored the first one. Game is really good but I think I slightly prefer the original for a few reasons.
Man, I didn't even finish the first one yet and the second one is already out. Great games though. Also I recommend everyone play with the Spanish audio for a more immersive experience
Sorry for my delayed response, your comment was almost lost in the avalanche of other comments that I usually receive.
The DLC file(S) for this game were not listed separately on this page. Back up your savegame files into another folder, download the currently listed version of this game and either uninstall your older version of the game prior to installing the current version or install the current version into another folder and then copy the backup savegame files into the "..\Users\ {Windows User Account Name} \AppData\Roaming..." subfolder in your system drive for the current version of this game. Your savegame files should work with the new DLCs in the current version of this game.
Finished the first game and immediately started this sequel. Initial impression: I immediately like the sequel better which is a rare thing.
First game was trying to be a 50/50 action/platformer. But the problem was, their platforming was imprecise. They have fixed that in this game. Platforming and general movement feels a lot better here.
Try to look for a folder named "RUNE", "crack", "fix" or if it exists, just a folder that is located separate from the game's installer and copy its contents (The game's cracked files) into the installed game's folder. Overwrite any files if prompted. After applying the crack into the installed game's folder, try running the game again.
Because you still not crack it before start game. After install, you must open .iso file, you will see "RUNE" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)
Also, according to several people, the dlc is kind of a mess right now, with game breaking bugs and other issues. Apparently, there's a patch in the works, so you may may want to wait for that. I don't get how this kind of thing happens with a game like this.
i have done the rune crack thing after i installed the game and it when i run it the game starts it starts loading and then steam opens saying failure-no licenses. any ideas?
try uninstall and reinstall selecting copy rune crack before installation starts. I did it and game works like a charm. Great game that any Metroidvania fan must play BTW I have an Intel HD 4000, core i5 and 8 Gb ram, and works great.
When you click install the game, there is an option that says "copy rune crack into install dir", select it and click start installation. No need to do it manually, installation will do everything
