@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
This game is offered exclusively on the Epic Games Store. According to this game's Epic Games FAQ page, there is support for English Audio and English Subtitles. There is also support for Subtitles for 10 other languages (Note: The language support for the Interface was not specified, so it is unknown for which languages other than the default language, English, is there support for the Interface).
I'd really like to change the language, but editing it in epic_emu and saving didn't work at all. :( I'm Brazilian and tried — ptbr, pt, br, Brazilian, Portuguese — but none of them worked. Any idea how to fix this?
Update: I figured it out! Turns out the key was setting the language specifically to 'pt-br' — with the dash. I had tried pt, ptbr, br, pt, Brazilian, Portuguese… none of those worked. But 'pt-br' did the trick. Hopefully this helps anyone running into the same issue!
looks like the code of language is ISO 639 (with ISO 3166, for "pt-br"), French = fr, Italian = it, German = de, Spanish (Spain) = es, Japanese = ja, Korean = ko, Russian = ru, but still can not figure out the code for Simplified & Traditional Chinese, have tried zh, zh-cn, zh_cn, cn, cn_zh, cn-zh, schi, tchi, schinese, tschinese, none of them work. anyone?
Update: finally, Simplified Chinese = zh-hans, Traditional Chinese = zh-hant
Thanks for sharing the information with our community! Great work on finding out the correct setting code to use for this game! The language setting codes are not standardized, so what may work for one game might not necessarily work for another. As you have discovered, it's all "Trial and error" when it comes to trying to determine the correct setting codes to use to set a desired, in-game language.
The first and second ones were pretty good, the third one on the other hand, yeah it was not as good as the previous ones. Sure the starting area promised some good things and I will admit a Castlevania game were you play as Dracula is a neat premise but sadly the rest of the game did not deliver whatsoever. As for IGA, at that time he wasn't working for Capcom was he?
Weird - I NEVER have issues installing games from here. I installed the game and applied the crack and - when I run the game - it just goes to a never ending black screen. 3060 ti and i7 7700. Anyone else?
Anyone, is it mandatory to make a certain amount of progress in the game before you have the option to "Save and Return to Main Menu"? This option along with "Show Next Objective" and "Respawn" are all greyed out and unavailable to me. Its a fact that I hadn't gone very far just yet but wondering if this is always gonna be a thing no matter how far into it I get (which is a problem). Thanks.
Rune installs never work for me. Always produces an error right at the beginning of EVERY installation. Don't matter if you disable AV. Every other scene release works perfectly.
