question Dazed, when you play VR games (assuming you do) how do you play them? steam VR? adding some command to the target line in properties? care to explian it to a newbie? since not much info on "cracked" VR games im aware of without using VRP etc. (which i had half way installed before stopping)

To play VR games (Cracked or otherwise), you'll need to install (In your case for the Quest 2 headset), the Occulus PC application and Steam VR.
I recommend that you watch MTG Gaming's fully detailed, highly informative video. It is a perfect tutorial to best explain things for those who are new to VR gaming. Some cracked games may require that you invoke the cracked game's executable along with some parameters like for example, "-VR" and "-hmd=SteamVR", "-hmd=OculusHMD" or "-hmd=OSVR" (Open Source VR. This is an old platform that may no longer be supported) within the "Target:" textbox inside a shortcut to the game's executable (What parameters used, if any, depends upon each cracked game and the platform(s) that it supports). Once you have both applications and your VR game installed, run the Occulus PC application, Steam VR and then launch your VR game.
Your official MetaQuest "Link" cable should give you optimal performance as it can keep your Quest 2 headset fully charged with its USB-C to USB-C connectors while you're playing a VR game as MTG Gaming explains in his other video, so if you're using that fiber optic (vs copper wire) cable you shouldn't be having performance problems. Maybe the official "Link" cable that you bought is defective? The cheaper copper wire cables will still keep your Quest 2 headset charged but not at a sustainable rate while you're playing (It can't re-charge the headset as fast as you can drain power by using it which means that eventually, you'll need to stop playing to allow your headset to fully charge). BTW - Call me "Daz" for short. I prefer that nickname.
right after id asked this i ended up getting no mans sky running proper but it was cut short since i was using wireless mode. and had been trying half the day to get it going in true VR. either way, this will help others, and gave me a proper answer on how i ended up getting this to work. since i couldnt remember how i got it going correctly.
it can't be, did you copy and paste it correctly? (it should be overwriting your existing files). It works because I tested it on my computer, as well as several others with similar cases to yours, all worked.
weird, can you take a screenshot of where you copied (overwritten) the crack to?
Also it might be corrupted if you have a previous save (try deleting, or cutting the previous save folder to another place), it should be here:
"C:\Users<YOUR_USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\Warpfrog\BladeAndSorcery\My Games\BladeAndSorcery\Saves\Default" (in case you don't have that folder, create it manually)
Do I really have to explain what a false positive is? The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)
its not really false positives, most high end anti-virus programs dont like cracked games and add things like these to try to discourage it, even tho it doesnt do much
you guys do realize that the Part files is the same as the torrent version, just broken into ZIPs for people who's internet doesnt allow downloading of torrents..? just as risky as torrents

i have the stuck loading at 18% problem. the crack file fix hasnt worked, wiping the save file hasnt worked, i even tried a fresh install of the game incase any files had corrupted somehow and repeated all steps but still the same issue persists. Any advice for me please?? im at a loss now
I was able to find a fix on another upload of this. i just had to create a folder named Default in the saves directory and it opens fine now. if anyone else has the same problem try this and it should work

i got a quest 2 off my uncle for 100 u.s.d. sometime ago, and have only played beat saber lmao. so ive just started actually getting "used to and into" PCVR finally. considering my pc is a 5800x, 4070ti it should handle good enough.
Lmao, when i got my first vr i did the same but on my gtx 1050, only beat saber worked at a playable fps, that made me not use my vr, but recently i finally bought myself rtx 3060 12gb which works great. I need to finally use my vr
do you have steam VR installed, and have set this as a non steam game, going on to set it as a "VR" game included in your steam library? once you did that, you need meta quest app for PC. then connect your headset *assuming its a quest 1/2/3. or a rift works too. after your connected in the meta app for pc, run steam VR, then go into your headset and wait for it to open steam vr. then youll find the game added there. to which youll run it AS A VR GAME since you already added such option! should say VR beside the name on the right or so. once all that is done, it should load up and your in game with true VR running.
As far as I know (I use a quest 2) you don't need to setup a game through steam using the 'non steam game' feature. As long as steam is open and you click the exe, the game will launch steam vr in the background automatically if you already have your vr stuff open and connected.
not quite... you gotta tell steam to run it in VR... some games work fine without setting it as "vr game" but others give that split vision effect that doesnt bold so well for VR... this being one of those, as well as no mans sky...
Ah alright that makes sense. I've only pirated B&S, bonelabs/works, and bloodtrail so far and they all worked right away, so I just assumed everything else did lol.
most do honestly. but not all as i mentioned. most the time B&S fired up just fine without running via "forced VR" other times, not so much.. even tho its a VR game at base... from what i gather, itll work VR and on flat screen too.. as will alot of other vr games..
from what i just gathered off google, this game has a version for the PICO 4. so, i can only assume it would work via steam... you should just be able to grab the steam VR app, hook to your PC as usual, then tell the game to run in VR mode, and play.. after opening steam VR on pc or in the pico headset and setting it either wired mode or (if applicable) in btooth mode.
if you still have yet got this working, message me and ill further assist you! but, i believe if you downloaded the game, and connected up to your computer, again with steam VR installed on the PC you should have no issues. considering google shows alot with "PCVR" "PICO 4" and "STEAM VR" working together.

Not here you can't, unless the upload has individual updates to the game, which would be posted below the system requirements. This game doesn't have that option.
Is there any way to download mods on this version? Seeing as mod.io rejects the application since its not from steam, I was curious if there was any other way to do so.
Either you can download part 1 and then part 2 into the same folder or you can download using the torrent link which is a lot easier but require a torrent app on your PC for example uTorrent or Torrex
so you need to download both files (part 1 & part 2) after that put them in a file as (.rar) and extract both of them at the same time to create a file aka (Extract here / your files name)
make sure you close your antivirus during the download when you download a cracked game it will false possitive that its a virus causing your file to not have anything
u just download the parts and then click "extract file" on one of them and it will automatically create a new folder for you with the game. no need to copy into folder yourself

if you have mods installed via vortex, remove them all and check for updates then try to restart the game, to quote someone below "Well there are just bug fixes with the game and U10.2 will help with them and mods won't be able to run U10"
I'm reinstalling it currently I have ass wifi so it'll take a while but I'm going to see if they fixed the one time bootup thing cause it worked the first time and stuck in a loading screen every other time and every other version I've gotten it from here its worked fine but U10 didn't I have a GTX 1070 and an i7 with 16GB of ram which is the recommended so before it downloads if anyone knows a fix I'd greatly appreciate it also im getting it from the google drive link if that helps with any info
I love that they updated the game but I can't play it it just says unable to load the game you may have some incompatible mods even though I didn't download any mods

Just a warning, a lot of mods are outright hostile to pirated copies of the game. The Outer Rim explicitly has stuff in it to make it not work. I mean, if anyone got it to work then tell us because I certainly can't figure it out.

On WMR and I've tried EVERY SINGLE BINDING, can't move or turn my character. Can play and every other action works on the controllers but I can't move the actual character. I also can't customize anything past the hair style and beard. Clicking on the other options does nothing.
