Don't be fooled by the tacky promotional art at the top of the page: this game is one SOLID metroidvania experience. The world is immersive, which is good because you're going to explore the same areas over and over again. I never once felt bored finding hidden secrets in some secluded corner somewhere. Definitely a strong GOTY contender for me!
A metroidvania with katanas. Interesting idea. But if not, it's the full version, I won't download it. I get bored of games that have been incomplete for years and then are never finished due to lack of ideas or because the approach was excessively ambitious and they didn't know how to solve it.
See my comment below. This is the full retail version of the game. According to this game's Steam page (See here) it is not an Early Access version. Whether the retail version is truly complete or has an ongoing, planned update roadmap, is up to the devs for this game. The point is that this version is the same as that of the one purchased from Steam with its possible inherent bugs, "incomplete" levels or future updates to be rolled out.
I know; I downloaded it out of pure curiosity and looked online for other versions just in case and when I tried both to compare I realized that the game, like others from this same studio, was complete. There may be bugs but it works fine for me and by the way it is highly recommended. It has a good story and it doesn't get boring like other metroidvanias I know. that's for sure you have to be a big fan of this genre to enjoy it. thanks IGG-Games
I have been known to enjoy a good Metroidvania once in a while, especially if it's an eroge/H-game like "R18+ Monster Girl You-ki chan!" (See game page here)~! BTW, this not an alias account of IGG-Games.com [admin]. I'm my own person! 😉
IGG-Games.com [Admin] always uploads full, retail versions of games and not demo versions that can be downloaded for free from Steam or any other on-line store. That's also why Steam "Free To Play" games are not allowed to be requested in the Game Request section (They are considered by IGG-Games.com [Admin] to fall within the same category of freely downloadable games - It would make no sense and also be considered lame for any warez site to list a free game).
Unless explicitly written in a given game page as being a demo version (A very rare occurrence), the featured game within is always the full, retail version. In the case of this game, the source is P2P (Peer to Peer) (See here).
bleh another metroidvania from this dudes they need to move away from that genre and do something different like they did with drainus a contra clone would be nice with that engine
There's nothing wrong with going back to what you know best. Hell, EA knows how to scam people real well and Bethesda knows how to sell buggy games. People still gave them business over the years regardless.
Interesting idea.
