Given Steam's recent crusade on adult games, I was surprised to see this game released. I did a bit of digging and as I expected this is a "Revised" version that complies with Steam's new censorship guidelines. You can read more on it here.
Expect to see many of previously adult games to go this route, get trimmed, and be ready for PG-13 consumption 😄
To avoid misunderstanding, my inclusion of that image was not a jab at the arachnophobia mode. I think it's nice of the developers to consider minorities, especially if it doesn't consume too much development time. I used that image as a metaphor to show how outside influence can warp an original idea.
Skyrim's spiders hardly look realistic though. I remember there was a monster mod for Skyrim that made the spiders look WAY more realistic. Like real tarantulas except massive
Wait, are you seriously calling the inclusion of an arachnophobic mode "woke"? Is that what you're doing or am I misunderstanding your comment completely?
Harry Potter is not a horror game. Have you ever seen any horror game with these kinds of options? No? Good, because it doesn't MAKE SENSE to have said options in said games, they're meant to scare you and make you feel uncomfortable. Harry Potter and Grounded on the other hand aren't horror games, they aren't mean to scare so these kinds of options make sense, plus they're OPTIONS, no one is forcing you to use them. What you're basically saying is" Fuck inclusivity, I'm a big strong meathead man and everyone else should be like me and if you're not you're a coward pussy", you're exactly the kind of person that gives the gaming community it's toxic fame. Fuck you and everything that you stand for.
Black Souls: Suffering...
Fear and Hunger on the other hand wants you to suffer and when you clear it, its kind of leaves a sour taste on your mouth.
