I was able to change all the skins to aluminim but it doesnt matter as anything downloaded for some reason it doesnt fly and it moves at snails pace nothing could possible get off the ground so airplane mods are good for looking at them on the ground ONLY! This is BS to me! I see why it's not played much anymore. A selecty few player figured out how to speed up the planes but i'm not going to waste months on end try to get a creation to speed up it either works or doesnt and seeing this it doesnt! What A big failure! I lost interest in this game now such a big disappointment! So glad i didnt buy it! My thanks goes to IGG for saving me from this non working mess!
All my mods are made from wood! any steam workshops download they are all made from wood! The dont blowup or catch fire they basically dont do much when they collide with other things very boring! I checked all the files and no skins or even mention of skins with the download :(
As of june 14th, you can now download mods from the https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/ Just go to the website of the mod you want, (IN STEAM WORKSHOP) Enter the link, and insert the mod into the game! :D
First of all, mods are different from skins. Did you download the skins that go with that plane? Second, of course nothing explodes. Even if you change what a block looks like, it's still going to behave like wood.
For me, after adding mods to the "Mods" folder and starting the game, the mods did not show up to turn them on. I have no idea if I did something wrong.
Try going in-game, going to the mods section, and see if the mods are "Enabled" if that doesn't work, can you send a pic of your mods folder with the mod(s) in it?

I get a white screen on launch but i can still hear the sound of the game. I installed it by the codex setup, then copy pasted the codex content on the game folder, same thing for the update... am i missing something? This is not the first game with codex that does this, is there a fix?
depends on your graphic settings, i once played this with my old laptop dual core and 3gb DDR2 ram on very low, yet it still depends on how complicate your machine (more complicate more laggy) also you can just set the game speed (kinda like slow mo action, but still works)
i was able to play on the integrated graphics of a Dell Inspiron N5110 Intel Core i3-2310M 2.1Ghz 6GB Ram and only got major lag and fps drops when i had more the 12 cannons firing at once or alot of stuff happening all at once
When it first came out in early access I was rocking a dual core athlon 5200+ and a gtx 9800. That build could definitely not handle more complex constructions and I was dropping frames. I'm sure it's more optimized now. Edit: Fixed a few grammar mistakes.

I was always kind of bored of vanilla, and I've been waiting for the steam workshop to update for months :D

I even tried to unpack them, but it doesn't work for me

mmmm those specs
is there any potato user available to test this?
it makes sense why its not a very demanding game
Edit: Fixed a few grammar mistakes.
a little tedious but acceptable
but i think a pc with those specs i doubt it may run fine
