Je tiens à signaler un comportement vraiment étrange suite à l'exécution de ce fichier. Méfiant envers les .exe, je l’ai d’abord passé sur Triage. Sur la première machine virtuelle, tout semblait normal : le jeu s’installe et fonctionne. Mais en basculant sur une autre VM, j’ai vu la souris bouger toute seule, accepter les conditions d’utilisation et lancer des téléchargements sans aucune action de ma part. Clairement, quelque chose d’automatisé prenait le contrôle. Ce n’est peut-être pas un virus “bruyant”, mais probablement un bot/script distant qui installe tranquillement du contenu malveillant.
Lol, you are too paranoid, I was going to delete your comment, but I thought it would be fun to leave it here. That file is the file taken from gog.com. Not sure if you know what gog.com is? it is one of the biggest gaming platforms in the world, next to steam. You are a security student, but the most basic thing before doing it, is to check the signature of the file, windows even lists that file as safe and matches the signature of the GOG company :)).
Interestingly, if you really find that the file has a virus, file a lawsuit against that company and get millions of dollars: https://www.gog.com/en/
Or at least other gaming platforms like Steam will reward you with millions of dollars for helping eliminate their competitors. Also write and submit your reports to reputable newspapers, it will definitely shock the world in general, and the entire gaming industry in particular, because GOG is famous for being a DRM Free company.. Don't forget to share with me a few tens of thousands of dollars because I suggested it ;D
Just because a new update has been officially released in retail (eg. - Steam store) doesn't mean that there is also already a cracked version. Someone in the Scene or P2P has to crack it first. It takes time to crack games and game updates. Whenever that happens is unknown to those outside of the release (cracking) groups.
You can check on srrDB for any new releases including games and game updates. Whenever they come out, IGG, the administrator of this site, will acquire, upload (To the third party file hosters) and list them on this site.
