Yeah, I had the opportunity to play it on MAME, and to me is practically the best game of the series, since they removed too many of the frustrations of the original games and focused solely on you beating the living crap out of bad guys like you do in Final Fight and Streets of Rage. I also highly recommend give this game a try.
there's a folder with a word crack or codex or whatever the guy's name who cracked it with some files like exe or ini files and etc. copy those and paste them into the game's main folder. To easily access the game's folder just right click the game's shortcut icon and click open file location and paste it there.

Google Drive is fine, you just need to add it your own GDrive, then make a copy from the "Shared with me" tab. Do not make a copy from My Drive tab, that just makes a copy of the shortcut which majority of the time will not allow you to download. If I had to guess this might be one of Google's new implementation to slow down/stop piracy.

yep, playing alone i did it in 2 attempts, no save states, cheats, or anything else just playing the game. I also beat it when i actually had the NES game when i was like 7-8 with my brother bout a year older. was not THAT HARD, contra was more of a pain in the ass, ninja gaiden was rage inducing, and silver surfer has to be legit impossible to beat.
To anyone that's not sure about this game, play it. Yeah the art style is not my jam but this game is very charming with its humor, voice acting and cut scenes. The gameplay isn't as ball bustingly difficult as the original but is still challenging. Gameplay can be all over the place though.

The game is garbage. It's a bad modern Nickelodeon cartoon-as-game, and both looks and plays more like a badly done ripoff game of Rayman: Raving Toads than it does Battletoads.

Yes, this is actually of the recurring critics in the Steam reviews. Lots of people complain that the pace is broken because of the many mini-games, which are not even interesting. I wish developers understood the old saying "less is more". Old classic beat'em up are more enjoyable. They were very simple and could be beaten in 30 minutes at best, but they ROCKED. And that was good enough. No need to try to be a jack of all trades with gimmicks, as you said.
Oh dear, what a shame. Cause the whole thing where they turn body-parts (or whole body) into different things to attack the enemies made these chars really great in my eyes. It was really creative, but so under-utilized. The SNES game had:
1 beat em up stage (yay!)
going down a hole... at least with beat-em-up light
checkerboard-surfing minigame (which goes on for way too long)
turbo tunnel without the beat-em-up section at the start
riding on snakes... like Bucky O'Hare or every other game with that gimmick
the "change direction in the correct moment" chase
a second checkerboard-surfing minigame ffs
reach the bomb before your enemy chase-stage
final boss With how much chasing, surfing and bike-riding that's going on, the Beat-Em-Up part is the actual minigame...
In fact, even 4 GB is absolutely unacceptable for such games, especially when you consider the massive fun you can get from Megadrive, Super Nintendo, and Neo-Geo games, which take 2 MB at best... (30+mb for Neo-Geo, though.)
Cannot argue with that but consider how much space for those HD character resolution take I think 4-5gig is max even if you include the full voice and animation.

Sad but true. Even SOR4 was a disappointment. Recently, I'm starting to delete all recent beat'em up I downloaded this year. Especially when I play emulators, it makes me realize how modern beat'em up just don't get it.
It's a Small studio so they have to prioritize and in fairness I'm ok with no voice acting and static cutscenes for a great character animations and some really fucking good visuals like seriously I've never seen Beat Em Ups this good looking even to this day, it makes the new ones including this one look like a newgrounds flash game

The design looks like every generic cartoon they make nowadays, where you can't tell them apart. The arcade version for this game was the shit, but now it's just toned down, nonviolent, cal-arts looking nonsense. At least Streets of Rage 4 stuck pretty close to the original tone of the franchise and the artwork didn't look generic.

Terrible analogy. Kintaro looks threatening, he looks like a boss, even if you only fight him once, who cares, he looks the part. DQ doesn't in this art style, she looks like a one note villain from Kim Possible, the kind that shows up once, gets defeated halfway through the episode and no one hears from her ever again for the rest of the series. There were TONS of ways of keeping her in this art style and still making her look threatening as a main villain should yet the designers decided to go for the safe route instead.
