How come it keeps asking me to download a extension to chrome, not a fan of that tbh. Would rather just download the file, I'm not downloading anything till I know its not a virus.
steam workshop. search for banished. find a mod you like. click on link for mod description. once there copy url of that page. open new internet tab. go to https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/ and paste url in the http box. check no extraction box. then click download. easy peezy.
This is the latest version right? Feel like a noob here, almost 5 years of pirating just this once i asked if this is the latest version. Don't know why, feels wierd.
hello, i got a problem, the dll is not missing but whenever i try to open it keeps saying the dll file encounters a fatal access error, what should I do?
Hello, I've tried downloading and the game several times but everytime I try to open the game it says there has been "A fatal access violation" in igd10umd64.dll. What does that mean and how do I fix it?
Download the .dll from any dll download site and add it in your windows dir. (probably on system 32 but you will get where to put it from the dll sites. Hope it helps.
Yes Paradox Interactive in documents then Stellaris, then Mod and then workshop as well. You can't use steam workshop, but can use sky mods and other mod websites
Hello there. Got the same issue after downloading it but luckily I fixed it. Try to look if you can run it on your PC. I fixed mine by making my VRAM from 126mb to 512mb to meet the min. system requirements and it works fine. Got no audio though. hope this helps..
Thank you very much! i couldn`t believe how easy was downloading and playing it. I had no problem and my game save successfully despite i didn't have to install it.
Gee this game is still broken. NPC pathing is all over the place. All civilians do dumb random jobs when they are assigned to jobs. Pathetic, there needs to be a little more micro management of civilians.
Is there a way to reset the Achievements??.. they are almost all unlocked and are at 76%.. tried to delete saves files.. and tried to go a regedit to check ach*.* files under banished folder.. but nothing is there.. Is there a way to reset the achievements ?
Downloaded from Google Drive, extraction and installation was quick and easy and the game runs with no issues. This is one of those games that's pretty fun on its own but mods really make it quite an amazing experience and they do work fine with this version as long as they're installed correctly. Game seems to be compatible with 32-bit OS as long as you run the x32 exe instead of the 64 bit one, but as I'm running a 64-bit OS I cannot confirm this. At least the 64 bit version works really well and I've yet to run into any crashes or other issues. Thanks for the upload!
It would be nice if you could include a 32 bit version. Don't tell me to upgrade to a 64 bit computer because i have an old computer and where i live every piece of technology is massively overpriced.
Hello, can someone pls help me? I downloaded the File but I have no idea what to do now, There are two .exe files in there, but none of them work. When I try to open them it always says that "steam_api64.dll" is missing. Below you see what files I got. I appreciate every kind of help :)
Thank you IGG; this game has been keeping me busy for a few days, and the mods are expanding the game extensively. For anyone that is interested in installing mods; all you have to do is download them from any site which hosts them, such as... http://banishedinfo.com/mods/browse Once you have a mod downloaded that you want to use, drop the .PKM file into the WinData folder located within the games root folder. Once the game starts, you should be able to see and check your mods in the main menu via the mods menu option. To activate them in game, you have to access the mods list in an active game via the pause menu and select each individual mod; red mods mean they are conflicting with another, or it wants to over-ride another active mod. I recommend checking out the "CC New Frontier" mod after you've had some time to first test the base game with all of its options; This is mainly because the colonial mod is EPIC and adds a HUGE amount of extra buildings and jobs for your villagers. For some reason, I didn't find that the colonial mod included any adjustment to the child baring age limit, which caused most of my villagers to eventually die off within the first generation. The best way to fix this, is to download the mod "Stable Population"; this would allow couples to bare children till age 50 and have a life expectancy of 65... This will greatly increase chances that there is always a 1-2 children born for ever adult which passes, which increases or helps equal out your populations. In the time I've been playing, the game has but crashed on me maybe two times. The first time I had conflicting mods, and the second time I'm unaware what took place; both times my save was safe as I keep constant backups... btw; stuff can go wrong really quick in this game.. you're gonna wanna make a few saves at different points (like skyrim or something) to be able to return to a certain points if something terrible takes place... such as population crisis, no food, disease ect. Again, thanks igg. ~Marcus
Well, I know its been a while since you had written your reply, so you may have already found the answer; but I found the resource for MegaMod by going here... I personally have not used this mod though, so I cannot attest to its quality, compatibility and such. Good luck. http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?topic=1285.0
If you get GetickCount, you should assure that your Anti VIrus and Firewall turned off before extract game... If still cant start, you should install ALL Vredist before start game and run game with "Run as Administrator".. This is my image:
