A PVP focused Backpack Heroes with some additional ideas, great.
But it doesn't seem to distinguish between online/offline play, it doesn't say "Generating a Bot" even if you cut off the internet, it silently expects you to be always online instead of letting you choose, which feels a bit shady. And extra shady points per the QQ penguin. You don't need a QQ account to play, but just the sight of it... hmm.
If you lose focus to the game window, the game auto-quits after refocus, which one can only guess is to prevent mem-hacking. A pity when seeing what crazy combo you can get with infinite money is part of the fun. (in PVE of course) (Just save editing doesn't seem to work either, there must be a way, just not motivated enough to research.)
There is English support via the English interface and English subtitles. Note: This latest version of the game supports 10 languages, including English. That's an increase of 4 additional languages compared to 6 languages, including English, supported by the earlier version as noted in the previous language support notification posted in my previous comment below.
Latest big update (0.9.12) was requested on request page 5-6 times by different people in last week, got a reply too 2 days ago that "it will be uploaded", but probably busy with too many requests.

Hopefully this will be updated soon as well.
