I know that my hardware would be considered pretty old at this point, but it seems crazy to me how many FPS-related problems and straight-up temporary freezes I get in a game which seems so... non-complex, so to say.
I sure would hope that this is just an optimization problem which they'll fix later on in the development cycle of the game.
Its nice looking. The jumping and the shooting are kinetic and fun. Its can be button mashed, I appreciate that. And if you've got the reflexes you could even be good at it.
I think its a good start.
Needs more enemy diversity. Shooing 20 ladybug monsters was mostly just a chore. Shooting with twin sticks is always awkward. You need some kind of aim assistance, and just keep it to a necessary level. Dont make it a core game play element. 3rd person perspective is better suited for jumping and hack and slashing.
Downloaded it and it is completely bugged. can't open the menu, no text showing up, no pop ups showing up either. literally unplayable. also don't have any damage numbers etc like in the screenshots.
Want some cries with that? If you bought the game and not downloaded it for FREE then you don't have this problem. This game, even being early access, runs fine.
I think that's the game's attempt at an "on-startup tutorial", but it's bugged as hell. I (funnily enough) somehow accidentally managed to exit it and then it just puts you into the main game where things generally seem to work.

Its got a nice graphic novel style.
...I'll probably end up turning that music down...
There is English support via the English interface.
