i was under the assumption that you play as a AI android that just got built and you somehow fall in love with your creator and it turns into Yuri

Yes, thats exactly what I was expecting. Its almost a reflex now to assume such things with these types of games.
I checked the tags on steam, no romance or yuri tags though. But they do mention deep psychological story. This could be a diamond in the rough.
