The game is supposed to be 5 gbs, don't know why it's a sussy 8.6 gbs! I'll be buying it shortly because it's on sale, but I'll be downloading it on a VM in sandbox and i'll let you know how my pc fares. But be wary as pirating will never be as safe as just buying the game. Prolly has a virus although idk for certain yet. Would like to know why it's more than it would be on steam?
I don't know, maybe because steam hasn't updated the size to the latest version yet :) . Anyway you can try. Besides, I also encourage everyone to buy the game to support the developer if they can https://media0.giphy.com/media/8Li4dRq7UuHDO/giphy.gif
i think you just forgot the main reason why people pirates games. we dont have spared money to begin with. all of our money can only be used to buy tools, food and education.
New Blood is doing fine.. but yeah :) buy your favorite games if you can. I did that with Bioshock, HROT (1-man dev) and other Indie 1-man made game called Extraneum..
I actually got Hrot from here, realized I was putting so many hours in the game! and I was able to afford 15$ once and bought it (15$ is still a lot for the time being)
This is a really good game. It has the 90's pixels but with modern visuals, very unique. Although I'm experiencing some weird bugs in the Video options. If I choose Fullscreen, the resolution sets on its own to 1280x720 so I have to set it up to Borderless to play on 4K but then the graphics go to Low even if I choose Epic. Is this a game bug?
I don't have time to write a proper review, but I just wanted to say this is one MAGNIFICENT game. I like Dusk, but I think it's even better. And I like these graphics so much... They managed to find a perfect balance between something which kinda look 90s, but with lots of modern touches too. It's really special and unique. The game looks infinitely better than these two static screenshots, you have to see it in motion yourself. Can't say much about the gameplay because it's perfect for me. Everything feels balanced, controls are tight and the "fights" feel good. I love the "weight" of some weapons...😋 I haven't finished this final(?) version, so I'm not sure how long it is, but it sure seems as long as any good 90s FPS. There's plenty of content and very diverse levels! I enjoy the game a lot with the easy setting. I see some complaints that the game is already too hard in medium difficulty... Maybe, I don't know.
Super old my arse.. LOL I hear ya. I'm in my 50's and played Hexen when it came out in the 90's. It feels strange to hear the kids say they played it when they were little kids. heck when I was a little kid we were lucky if we could get Pong. Most were lucky if they had a color tv!
