I downloaded the game, but the folder contains only one executable called 'unarc.exe' and it does not do anything, how should I install the game? (The image is not from the game folder, but it is identical except for the sizes of the files)
Solved, the missing file was 'SiMPLEX.exe', that the antivirus detected it as malicious and it was not extracted from the .rar file, the solution was to deactivate the protections in real time and extract the package as always
Everything is tested and scanned before being uploaded, this website is virus free. If you get a trojan, it's false positive, like explained http://igg-games.com/virus-trojan.html.
It's asking for password to unpack rar. The pass is NOT igggames MEGAUP dl asks for password OPENLOAD link opens a fake 'security alert' all the other links are dead.
If anyone else has the sound problem I fixed it by activating the windows media player. Weird but that's the solution at least until they update the game files.
Yeah, it might be that game companies are trying to jump on the hype of Imperator: Rome's upcoming release and churn out some Rome themed games to make money off people who are waiting for Imperator and are looking for historical games set in the same era
This game looks much deeper, trought - no joking -, with all that population and other statistics. Birth control feature is cool. Imperator Rome, on the other hand, is just an unfinished sign saying :"Put the money this way, bitches". Now I know this Hayazo's post is a year old but I had to comment.
No, you're right. Imperator Rome is definitely pretty barebones right about now, so it isn't surprising that this game ended being developed with deeper mechanics and such. With I:R, all you do is expand, expand, and expand. There's a bit of peacetime political intrigue, but it all just seems to lead back to war. I guess that's not exactly a bad thing or incorrect, as Rome's history up until the Pax Romana was, arguably, all about constant expansion and bringing roman values to new people by conquering their lands. However, the game really could use more nuance and more character to characters interactions besides just being an ancient war sim and not much more. I do hold out that it will get better down the line though, after about a year or 2 of updates and expansions. Pretty much every Paradox game starts out incomplete and barebones at the start, but then gets to be amazing after a long while. Unfortunately for paying customers, the PDX game they were hyped for from the start ends up costing hundreds of dollars because of all the DLC. Luckily this isn't a problem for us pirates lol
