hi all, why after i am install this game, and click the icon, it keep ask me to login to steam ? ithinks this version already crack... anyone can help ? thanks
Tell me who didnt recorded it(every horror letsplayer did),also the girl on the thumbnail looks like on drugs i dunno why. Weird smile, bigger than normal black dots in middle of eyes etc.
Finished it. Great game that makes me think of Home Sweet Home with less stealth or hide and seek. Some chase scenes but not too much. Puzzles arent tough. Super atmopshere, can't wait for the sequel. 8/10 (some sequences were kinda tough tho but i managed to finish it with not that much die and retry) I think they didnt translate some of the documents like it says "its an ancient article" in english, might be more details in chinese, tho its probably cantonese. PS : crouching makes you silent but i dont think the torch matters to be detected, if somebody can comfirm that...
Some facts here to let you decide whatever you should support the dev or NOT:
The dev claimed themselves as Hong Kong local developers They made an Facebook page for HK fans, Weibo page for Mainland Chinese fans They updated their Weibo page everyday, but they updated their Facebook page semiannually They only invited Chinese fans for their public beta test in their Weibo account, but HK players still don't have a chance, or even knowing there's a demo gameplay. They used the word "Chinese Hong Kong" to describe their own game which leads to 2 major problems...
the background of this game is referred to "Kowloon Walled City", which is a very special place well known for it was anarchy during 1899-1993. However, Hong Kong is "British Hong Kong" during that period, not "Chinese Hong Kong".
Hong Kong people really hate to be called as "Chinese Hong Kong". You guys should heard about "Hong Kong Protests" which many news have been reported. The protests are still going, and one of the main reason of these protests began is because Hong Kong people don't like China.
The dev deleted Hong Kong Protests slogans in Steam.
Yeah not supporting these pro-commie scum. I'll just pirate this game and I hope everybody else does. Thank you for the info and I wish the best for HK.
I'm mostly favorable to HK staying a city-state, but I gotta admit this city is full of issues even outside of the usual Chinese bullshitery. People die regardless of the politics. HK now, the west tomorrow, China eventualy. Regardless I'm just a dude who wanna play tons of video games, at this point the world could end tomorrow, so I wanna have a blast while it lasts. I'm sorry, but after my teenage rage toward injustice passed, I chose the easiest way, and decided to only protect those around me and myself. Whatever you may believe in, you live just once.
Go F yourself you imperialism scum. The British Hong Kong was the outcome of imperialism. People got killed for protesting during that time. Now they kill people who dare to disagree with them. Bunch of terrorists, you should be shamed yourself for supporting terrorists. Yet I understand you are in a tremendous grief after you lost all your family. Wish them rest in hell. Go shit your ignorant political bullshit somewhere else and leave the gamers alone.
Thanks !! As i followed the news about it, i totally wanted to support it. Tho some HK people are pro-China, and deleting the slogans could also mean their game could be threatened or censored (as Mainland China likes to do that). So there i have doubts, either they are pro HK or pro Chinese HK... Dunno what to think about it.... Not my place to have an opinion about it i guess, but i totally support HK to stay as independent as possible.
Easy to make apparently, just a map, walking simulator script and clever lighting, then BAM! You got a game that doesn't need to program enemy AIs or doing a storywriting
Option #4 on the start menu (from the top...)

The drop-down box will give you the "English" choice
