If you have old save, you have to delete it.

Good news, I repeated all the steps to install the game again today, and found that the problem occurred because I was using the old save file. I deleted the old save file and reopened the new save file and it worked normally.

It means that you should install the game in the folder where you downloaded from my link but not place the crack in it. What you were doing was install the folder to the game, man.

But I still get stuck on the Steam game page and the window freezes within five minutes of playing. (I did not install the crack that came with the original installation file)
Interesting, i have never had the issues once I found the solution. However, when i monitored the backend, it was still connecting to Steam but it never bothers me again like the issue you are having right now.
Steps:

- Extract the game zip folder
