I used my Perplexity AI app and because of my budget it recommended Levoit. Due to my room size it said get the Core 300 but it's hard to find so I got the Core 300P which is the same except they stuck a P on it for pet. At Amazon it was $89 plus tax. No shipping fee for Prime which I have. I want it for my bedroom, closet, bathroom which is about 250 sq ft. I just ordered today.
Thanks for sharing. I believe that Levoit has been rolling out P versions of their latest models that retain all the same features, potentially with higher performance. We will be testing a number of the latest models in 2026, so thanks for sharing your experience.
My daughter is scent sensitive, current apartment, above the laundry room, odors are crazy. Will any Levoit air purifiers be suitable , even for a bedroom ,as a safe place. Area 12x15 feet Thank you for your time
If you can I would look to go for a mid size model like the Core 400S or Vital 200S. The reason being is that they will cost similar amounts in filters but will give you a lot more performance. Also for that room size you could run them on speed 2 and still get a lot of air changes per hour at very low sound levels - whilst a smaller unit would need to be run on higher and so much louder for the same level of protection.

I just spent the last 3 hours on your website here ... after another day lost in the online world of purifiers and the very limited choices in Canada for ones sold here, without need for U.S. purchase during unpredictable tariff madness. Not to mention duty. Amazon.ca is lacking in the majority of models for companies like Levoit. They do have the 200s vital that had been interesting me all day - so glad you rate it highly. I guess my questions are, about the particle size, given my covid concerns and purpose for a purifier and the Dyson/yanking the Hepa label confuses me on that. And I thought I had read the noise level of the 200s was quieter than your ranking at low levels but that just shows I need a break from all this reading. Poor memory. I would also like to ask for clarification if possible, about removing parts of the filter system to replace but leaving the HEPA alone (it sounds like there IS a 'HEPA' in the 200s? I had read elsewhere maybe that the cylinders complicate things with everything bonded together and therefore whole thing must be replaced when it gets gunky, even if HEPA ok. So I thought that meant in box shaped ones like the 200S it WAS possible to replace parts of the filter system. Anyway. I hope I can hear back from you. Your site is amazing.

HEPA grade is useful for first pass filtration usage like in a power plant but in a home – MERV 13 and above are perfectly suited.
It would depends on total room size. Using two would likely give you a better air cleaning power for the overall space as you could run one in the kitchen and then another in the living room. For calculations for air changes you would just add up the CADR for each Vital 200S.
