I just checked Levoit's website and it says the 400s air filter is HEPA rated but it looks to be the only one? Any chance you could confirm this is true? I'm looking to get an aur filter for my 662sqft apartment but only really need the lounge/kitchen and 2 bedrooms purified, say about 500 - 550 sqft. I don't have too much room for a big machine I'm leaning towards the 400s, what do you think?
Still seems to show "With HEPA Sleep Mode" on the Amazon listing so I expect its similar to the other Levoit models that are HEPA at this fan speed.
This is quite common as there isn't any air purifiers on the market than can also provide HEPA H13 performance at the highest fan speed. Even the $1200 IQAir Atem X is E11 at top fan speed.
The 400S has enough power for around 4 air changes per hour at top speed, this might be good for your use case depends on what you need it for.

It may increase particle removal and voc slightly when enabled.
Will plan to test at some point but likely won't be for a while.
I'm also not sure if it emits ozone or if the ions mentioned are something different. Thanks!
