I've gone through your list of best Air Purifiers for days now and I want to thank you for all your research but I've come to a point of information overload and can't get myself to pull the trigger on any unit.
I live in a small ~600-700sq ft place that likely has a mold issue. I know I do NOT want a unit that uses ions due to the ozone it emits. I know I do want something that has a legit HEPA filter and good carbon filter for odors. My price range is anywhere from $200-400
A few that I have thought about: SA600 5-Speed Air Purifier Alen BreatheSmart 35i ***I like the fact that you can buy upgraded carbon filters Coway Airmega 250
Or any other recommendations from you. A lot of these units are on sale right now too making the expense grade better now than what it was. Coway also has a new Mighty2, not sure if you have a review/thoughts on it yet?
Sorry I have been late to reply to this. I have just been testing the Mighty2 recently and its been doing very well and I like a lot of the changes they have made like removing the ionizer. What room size are you looking to use your model and I can then make sure you have enough CADR when running on quieter fan speeds for your space.
