With a the design of the Rabbit A2 and A3 they are pull air from the front so you can have them directly mounted on the wall so no need to be 6 feet away.

If you want wall mount then they are not so many options available. Another option to consider as you said you don't need gas removal would be the IQAir Atem X. You would need to get the extra wall mount and it costs another $800 on what you pay for the Rabbit A3 when you add the wall mount.

But you will get a lot more air cleaning performance and a onboard laser sensor: My review of the IQAir Atem X Similar to Rabbitair you also get a very long warranty.

Unless you wanted to move away from wall-mount, then these would be the two models to choose from. It's hard to say if its worth paying for high warranty with Rabbit air but they are a brand that have been in the air purifier game for many years so I am confident in recommending them to those who can handle the higher than average initial price.

Be sure to keep me updated if you do choose one of these models as I would love to see a photo of them wall mounted (happy for you share privately if you prefer: danny@housefresh.com

Ty Danny for your videos and information. I prefer a wall mounted design. I believe I found safe, appropriate location, approximately 6 ft away from gas wall furnace, 4.5 ft height, and away from window heat or AC sources. Yet I read about unit being 6” away from wall, I think rabbit A2 & 3 account for that need? This is in a 1200 sq foot home, one story, bedrooms each further heated and cooled by small splits.
I am leaning toward the rabbit air A3, but believe I do not have strong gas or odor removal issues in a main room area open design where air purifier wd be mounted.
I do have concern about, dust and any noxious particles as the house is although renovated, old. I will be putting in new wall furnace and considering air purifier. I plan to have licensed HVAC technician install both.
Any thoughts re my needs and air purifier choice? Do I need the expense and warranty rabbit offers?
Ty so much!!!
