Can you take a look at the Winix T500? It appears to be nearly identical to the Winix A230/231, except it is app enabled. The dimensions are identical and the listed specs are very close (the T500 is slightly better).

This is a downside I have read about the Winix smaller models like the A231, unlike the larger models like the Winix 5500-2 and others, the sleep mode is manual vs automatic when it detect no light. I will be sure to make this clear to potential customers when I update this review. Thanks for sharing Robert.

I have the Winix A312 and use it in the bedroom…:when on Auto it doesn’t go into sleep mode when the bedroom lights are off….the sleep mode only works manually. I have reqd the manual but it doesn’t troubleshoot for this issue

hey! so I got it and it seems completely the same, from the filter changing mechanism to the buttons, seems to just be a different label like you pointed out. thanks!

Looks the same but different label. They sell it here in the UK so will look at testing to compare. If you buy let me know how you get in with it.
