IQ air combines a large carbon and particle filter. The AirFanta 3Pro with carbon is good but it's still only comes with 600grams of carbon vs the 5lbs you get with the Healthpro plus. I am looking to test out some DIY devices that use very large carbon filters so hope to add them to this list (if they perform well) at some point this year.
Also dealing with neighbors' smoke/smell getting into our house. It appears the smell is primarily coming in through our HVAC system (not windows, etc.). House is too big for a one-room filter to help much. Is there anything on the market you can recommend?
That's a tricky situation. I do know that there are HVAC filters that contain carbon but not sure if there would be enough to make a meaningful difference but could be worth testing. Are your HVAC outlets in every room? Sorry about questions as I don't have much experience with HVAC as its not common where I live.

Hey thanks for taking the time to comment and sorry you're dealing with this issue. I haven't tested that model but I worry the carbon amounts would be low for that model. Ask them how much carbon you get. I would recommend the cheaper https://housefresh.com/levoit-core-400s-review/ and get the smoke filters as it will have 450g of carbon. If that didn't work then you would need to for a specialist device like iqair health pro.
