We are going to be rolling out a new feature for the website that will allow you to compare any of the models we have tested that should help a lot.

But how does this compare to the Winix models?

I'm a big fan of the EverestAir as you get an overall higher CADR so you could run at a lower fan speed and still get a good number of air changes in the space at a lower sound. So if low sound would be a benefit I would go for the EverestAir over the Air Doctor 3500.

I generally avoid coverage estimates from manufacturers.nnIn our testing at full speed, they cleaned our test room in the same amount of time, so whilst the Core 600S has a slightly higher CADR, this is unlikely to make a big difference in most room sizes. nnAt a fan speed lower than 45 dbA, we saw that the EverestAir was 3 minutes quicker, so I would push to say the EveresAir in normal usage would provide more power - but it's still a fairly small difference. If you don't worry about the price, I would pick EverestAir, but the Core 600S provides clean air for $ spent.

This model has no ionizer, so it's 100% mechanical filtration. No ozone detected.

I would if that the extra cost is affordable. You get 400 grams of carbon with the EverestAir vs 160 of carbon you get with the standard filter in core 600S. nnThe removable pre-filter will also make it much easier to stay on top of keeping it clean. A dirty pre-filter will effect particle removal performance.

Would you recommend the Everest Air over the 600s? nI have a dog that sheds and I'm considering the Everest Air since it has the pre-filter that is easier to clean. From the conclusion here it seems that the 600s is more powerful (although everest was marginally quicker on cleaning) but from other reviews looks like cleaning the 600s filter isn't easy.
