Natural saturated fats are healthy and there's no convincing scientific evidence to support that it increases early cardiovascular mortality. It's old science and the mysteries around why some societies have people living long and healthy lives even with natural red meat and saturated fats are not actually mysteries.

This is a really interesting study and another illustration of the effectiveness of the Mediterranean diet. It would be fascinating to find out whether olive oils with high polyphenol contents could have similar effects on a more urban lifestyle with a low to moderate physical activity.
