I dislike the foreigners buying into and outright buying up american companies that produce our food supply in any way shape or form..and I will add..stop allowing foreign entities to buy up our farm land also. This has been going on for sometime..the "new" global world is not true..as humans we are and always will territorial.. The Spanish can't even get along with each other..mind you..let alone care about American consumers in any way shape or form. We need to protect our farmers...our growers and not fatten the wallets of people who basically have no use for us..period.

Not that I believe “government” has a place in this discussion, it does and is a reality. Look at the Att and Time/Warner merger. How is that it can be so easy for foreign producers to avoid tariffs ??? The protection of California Olive producers is important for many reasons.
