I don't understand why it is said that Tel Saf, right in the Central Jordan Valley is out of the area of olive cultivation. In fact that area was the entire Mediterranean Basin, as it has been shown that cultivated olives have arised at different locations from East (Levant) to West (Spain and Morocco) since around 7000 years ago.

Interesting and important findings. But your article has two errors/omissions: the title says the site is in "Jordan" when the complete location should be "Jordan Valley, Israel" (as per the title of the published article in Nature). Your article also says that the site is 32 km. "north" of the Sea of Galilee, when it should be 32 km. "south" of the Sea of Galilee.
