Good of you have Jonathan van Maren on! The topic choice is a strange one though. I haven’t really heard much about AHA since the Obama era. Back in 2014 or whenever it was that Gregg Cunningham decisively laid waste to them in that debate. Not really sure if giving this group free oxygen is the best idea.
Hey Navi. Yes, I'm really glad to have had the chance to bring Jonathon on in spite of our differences on other topics!
As we explain in the episode, AHA has been coming back. They're rewriting their history, and I keep having organization leaders reach out to me asking for advice about what to do with hostile AHA members who have only gotten more aggressive in the last year. That's why I reached out to Jonathon in the first place, and these two episodes are part of our attempt to help. If people want to hear the reply to the kinds of attacks AHA makes, they can listen to these podcasts. Hopefully it will dissuade some people from joining who would have bought into their rhetoric and slander.
