My initial take was that the ruling was devastating to the pro-life movement and had planned on writing a lengthy rebuttal. But this past week, an appeals court used the ruling of Justice Roberts to uphold an Arkansas law that included regulation on fetal remains disposal (which might even effectively ban chemical abortions, though that could just be pro-abortion fearmongering) and a ban on dismemberment abortion. Which is pretty much exactly what you predicted in this article. We get a significant pro-life victory while avoiding a blockbuster landmark ruling. So we'll see. Justice Roberts is definitely a Slytherin, but it's hard to say whether he's more like Severus Snape or Tom Riddle.
