When conservatives talk about liberal dominance of the media, they're referring to news outlets that claim to impartially report the facts and tell the truth as it is. Obviously opinion pieces and most talk radio don't fall into this category - people know they are getting commentary about the news from a certain perspective rather than an objective report (so the "but Fox News and Rush Limbaugh!" objection doesn't work).
Also, I think echo chambers and confirmation bias are liable to get worse over the coming years due to the rise of paywalls. If it costs money, most people are only going to subscribe to their favourite one or two outlets (which will be the ones that preach to their own biases).
