Ok a little off topic. This question has bad optics written all over it but I’m going for it.....What is the definition of rape? A drunk woman pressures (not forcefully) a sober man into having sex. Was anyone raped? Flip the genders. What about now? What if both are drunk? Should these share the same label as a violent and forceful rape? Do they deserve the same type of compassion and sympathy?
I encounter pro-choice advocates who use data from questionable definitions of rape to claim that abortions in the case of rape are way underreported by women. They say anyone who uses the self-reporting statistics is incorrect. Do you agree? Do you think the statistics we have on abortions in the case of rape are way lower than reality?

So, most of this comment is a copy and paste from another comment you posted somewhere else. Can you pick one, so that we don't have to keep copying and pasting our responses to each other? I can't promise you responses to all your questions, but I'll try to respond as I'm able.
Here's what I said in the other place you wrote this question:
If her doctors believe that her life is at risk, then I believe medical intervention is justified. (Some people debate whether or not to call it an "abortion." I don't care very much what you call it. I care whether the act in question is justified.)
Here's why I think it's justified: http://joshbrahm.com/mothers-life-risk-speech-audio/
