This principle seems to directly conflict with stances that members of ERI have taken in the past.

I don't see any conflict between this quotation and the article you linked to. That article is recommending that pro-life people stop policing the term "pro-life." What does that have to do with my statement that a worldview that says that sometimes racism may be the right thing is a wrong worldview?

The article sets up a number of straw-men to deflect criticism of pro life support and empowerment of racist, cruel, and inhumane policies instead of permitting a discussion on the issue. The practical effect of these straw-men is to inoculate pro lifers from ever having to respond to principle 8 in the first place because it's "unfair" to hold pro lifers to "weird standards."
Why is this principle only binding to other people?
