Great conversation! Just got iA Writer and wow! Loving it! I may start writing more blogs because of it. Lol.

I also use F.lux for my laptop. The only way to get the actual F.lux app on the iPhone is to jailbreak it.

However, there's another app that I use on my iPhone that's similar and doesn't require jailbreaking your iPhone. It has to be manually installed, but there's a YouTube video that walks you through step by step on how to install it. There are still a few minor bugs like the scheduling option not currently working, but as long as you remember to turn it on, it gets the job done. Just thought I'd share that.

Thanks for sharing Anthony! I've become a huge fan of iA Writer. It's such a nice clean interface that it really does make me want to write more. I've been thinking of writing more "casual" blog posts to share random ideas. There would be quick and dirty i.e. no featured image, just a short amount of text. What do you think?

I love it too. I actually wrote something this morning using it. I love that Focus mode!

Casual blog posts might be interesting. I think it all depends on how you want to approach how you're perceived in the online world. For example, I'm huge on being very transparent about my life, my thoughts, etc. So, I don't mind putting out into the world what's on my mind personally. I do this because I want to attract clients who relate to me. I've even written very long descriptions to my Instagram photos of something I was passionate about or how I felt. And even though I didn't think anyone would take the time to read it, I actually got emails and direct messages saying how much reading that made them feel better about their own situation. It was such an incredible feeling reading those messages. I also think that social media can give off this fake life kinda feeling. Most people only share the best moments of their life on social media. So, if I post something that shows I'm just as imperfect as they are, they're much more able to relate to me or totally disagree with me. One or the other. Lol. Sorry for the long comment. I'm just passionate about topics like this. Long story short... I think it's more up to you. Maybe reach out to your readers on your mailing list to get thoughts. Or just try it out and see what happens.
