Nice video Paul. Thanks. It's a shame that the marketing status field is not exposed to automations - as it would be great to set marketing consent on a "deal won" trigger as an example. This would be a really great capability. Do you know if Marketing status is exposed via the API to Zapier?

You mean simply asking if they'd like to subscribe, or an email asking them to confirm their email (double opt-in)?

Are campaigns only for subscribed contacts or can. I use the campaigns feature to engage new leads?

You can only send a Campaign to a contact who's 'Marketing Status' is 'Subscribed'. So as long as you have consent and the new leads marketing status is subscribed, then yes, you can use Campaigns.
