Hi Paul. In this training video you show "waiting type" pipelines - "gathering more info." and "waiting for payment".
When do you recommend using waiting stages - versus the "assumption" that you're waiting.
For example in the case of "invoice sent" - when would it make sense to also have a stage "waiting for payment" versus not having it. (not sure if this is a good example - we also have a "quote sent" stage - so for that one it could be "waiting for quote approval" etc.
Trying to get a feel also for how that would affect reporting - what do I gain or lose by having those waiting stages or not.

I don't think it matters too much whether you phrase it as 'waiting' or 'sent'. Instead of 'Waiting for Payment' I could have called it 'Payment Details Sent'. The main thing is that the next action/milestone is clear so that from a reporting point of view when I look at deal conversion I can easily see where people dropped off in the funnel.
Right - it wasn't so much about the phrasing (even though I know you recommend "past" tense) - it was about having both a sent AND a waiting stage (2 stages) versus just 1 stage to indicate both sent and waiting.
