Is it possible to set up one automation that addresses two opposing conditions?

Like, if email link is clicked in step 2, then this activity will be created in step 3, if not then activity 4 will need to happen.

I'm afraid Pipedrive's automation can't handle this kind of logic right now. But this is something Zapier would be able to do for you.

Is there a way to setup a rule as follows

  1. The deal is moved to a section I call Initial Audit Scheduled
  2. an email is scheduled to go out 24 hours before the calendared date for the initial audit meeting?

I'm afraid this kind of logic where you'd like to delay until 1 day before the booking wouldn't be possible with Workflow Automation. However, if you use a scheduling tool like Calendly, it will send a reminder automatically 24 hours before. Or, Zapier would be smart enough to delay until 24 hours before if you'd like to send the email as yourself. Let me know if you'd like help setting this up.

I think I will setup Calendly. I believe you just released a youtube video on this subject which I will start by reviewing that

Paul,

Is there any way to link emails to a Pipedrive contact if there is NO deal or lead? This way that email is accessible by all users... My understanding is such emails remain private in my email inbox within Pipedrive.

In Pipedrive settings they state: "Pipedrive will look for an open lead or deal related to the contact person the email was sent to or received from. When only one open lead or deal is found that matches the contact person, the email will be linked to it automatically."

Yes, you can simply email the contact and Pipedrive will link the email to the contact based on the email address you're sending to. i.e. if you email paul@paulminors.com, it'll link the email to this contact.

What this means is if there are multiple deals for a contact, you may have to manually link the email to the deal. Otherwise if there is one deal open only, Pipedrive can link it for you.

Hello Paul,
Unfortunately I cannot address my customers by their first name.
So I have to store the gender of the customer somewhere. This of course changes the way I address them. Good afternoon Mrs. Meyer or good afternoon Mr. Meyer. Where can I automate this? Let's assume I want to send 100 e-mails at once. Then he must differentiate between men and women. Thank you!

The only way I can think to do this in Pipedrive would be to have a data field e.g. 'Title' with dropdown options for Mr, Mrs etc. That way, in your template you can insert this as a field along with their last name.

I have run into an odd issue that you may have the answer to. I created an email template that will initially be sent to anyone who fills out our lead form on our website or when any deal/organization or contact is added manually. The issue I'm running into is that when I create the custom work flow, that specific email won't come up on my list of templates to choose from, but all the others that I have created in the past do. I am assuming it has something to do with the fields within that email? I could be wrong. Please advise. Thanks!

Hm, that's odd Jordan. I don't think this should make a difference, but is it set to 'Shared'? Also, does a simple page refresh help at all?
