I’ve gone back and forth about using a shared business email (like hello@) for all sales conversations vs using each person’s individual business email (like name@).
Do you have any thoughts on this. Pros/cons of using either option?
What we see people doing most is using name@ as it's more personal and from an email tracking perspective we can quickly see who on the team sent the email.
Ok. I want to have visibility across the team for sales conversations happening. How should I set up email visibility? I think the default setting for emails may be a bit too broad and the private setting may require too many manual updates. I want something in the middle. Suggestions?
What we see most people do is default their sharing to public and they can manually set a conversation to private if needed. Remember, people can only see emails that are linked to a contact/deal.
Personally I feel this approach is better than working from a shared inbox which gets confusing. I'm also not sure if you can sync the same email to multiple Pipedrive accounts (I've never actually tried).
