Hi Paul, I created a project template where each task has several collaborators and some of the tasks are assigned to clients outside of our organization.
I had several updates to make to the template, so I used the template to create a private project (since it's easier to update on the project level rather than in the template window). I then saved that as a new template and deleted the project.
The project I created with the template was private and I was the only person attached to the project. I didn't share it with anyone. However, it seems that my client was a able to see all tasks assigned to them in that private project.
Is it safe to assume that even if a project is private, people who are assigned tasks in that project can see them even if I have not shared the project with them?
I'm afraid not as templates currently can only live in one team at a time. But you could use it to create a project and then save the template to the new team.
I'm afraid task templates cannot be copied between projects. However, if you're copying a section of tasks, one option is to export the tasks from the original project and use the CSV import option to add them to any new projects.
Hi Paul. I loved the template concept. Most of my tasks I designed to repeat every month. Example: Send email brief to agency.
Is it better to create it as a template or a recurring task?
Thanks.
Hey Paul, mulligan at the beginning of this lesson in the first 5-10 seconds. No big deal, not distracting, but thought you might want to know just in case.

Ideally as a section of tasks template rather than an individual if that makes sense
